I started ordering pizza from Luv'n Oven back in the 70's. As far as I was concerned and have been for all these years, they've got the BEST pizza. Hands down. I don't know what's happened lately but, they're not the same place anymore. A few months ago I ordered a pizza and some wings. The pizza was burned and the wings were so dry they were hard! This has NEVER happened. I called and the manager was fantastic. He apologized and made it right by giving me a credit for the next time I ordered, for the whole thing (pizza and wings). I did order again but, this time, perhaps there was a notation as to the reason for the free meal because, the pizza was way undercooked. The crust wasn't even browned a little. The wings, still dry. I ordered again sometime later, the pizza was really good. Lots of cheese (ordered extra)and cooked properly. Good, back on track. Well, I just ordered again last night. Didn't order wings. Won't do that again but, that's OK, I can live without the wings, just not the pizza! I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, meatball, and pepperoni. Plus, garlic rolls with cheese. The garlic rolls were good as usual. But, the pizza was again undercooked but, just slightly. I can get past that but, what really bothered me is that, first, I didn't get extra cheese. I know because, again, been luv'n them since the 70's! But, the main reason for my resorting to writing this review is that, on almost every slice of that pizza, the cheese didn't start until three and a half inches from the outside edge of the pizza! Yes, I measured. On some of the slices, the cheese was closer to the edge, 1 & 1/2 inches. Maybe it's just me but, the slice ends where the cheese stops! The odd thing was that the sauce went all the way to about 1/2 inch from the edge. But, somehow, the (what was supposed to be extra cheese) didn't! Also, maybe my disappointment talking but, the cheese seemed not as good as either. I usually eat two slices and wrap up the rest to heat up later. But, because I only ate some of each slice, I had four partial slices and after a debate, decided I might as well try to still get my money's worth and wrap up the rest. After so many years of fantastic pizza I'm afraid this is farewell. It's strange but, I feel sad. Like it's the end of an era. The end of, no matter what, there's always that good old mouth watering, reliable Luv'n Oven pizza. The only thing I can think is that they've sold the place. Anyhow, I'm afraid I have to say goodbye to my old friend....
Read moreWent in today on a whim and SO glad we did! The food was AMAZING and you get SO MUCH for the price! There was a special today that was so insanely good that we literally felt like we couldn't pass it up or we were robbing ourselves!
As many of the reviews say here, GET THE THE GARLIC ROLLS (with cheese!) OMGGG! They are probably some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The pizza sauce is made in-house and is AMAZING, and I suggest you get it on anything with red sauce on it. Their red sauce is also very good, but that pizza sauce is somethin else omfg.
Even the ranch is made in-house and it is so thick and creamy you can flip it upside down in the little cup like a dairy queen blizzard, haha! Absolutely amazing food, the atmosphere was so comfy, and Liz, our server, was hands-down one of the most fun and welcoming people we've met in a loooong time.
We live about an hour away and were only on this side of town for a one-off sort of appointment, and we were talking about how we'd probably never be back in this area... Until we started eating at this place. We were already making plans to come all the way back up this way just to eat here before we got halfway into...
Read moreI tried to order a pizza with one of their coupons i received in the mail and was promptly told "we have raised our prices on that coupon". I stated "I have a coupon here that says "..... price" and he again stated "we have raised our price on that coupon" so I said "there is an expiration date on this coupon" and he said "sir, all of our coupons say expire soon" so i stated "no this coupon say expires 05/15/2020" which the reply to me was "sir, we have raised our price on that coupon". How disgusting and disturbing. I was astounded and not in a good way. I ended up purchasing the pizza and i recieved it with the most ridiculous cut slices ever. They had to put effort into these cuts to make them look so wavy and off center... or just be plain drunk. The pizza did taste good but omg the customer service and food service was horrifying. Ill leave another review if i ever order there again.
In their reply Luv'n Oven says it is because of covid... well that has nothing to do with a coupon that had not expired and should have been honored. It was less than $1.50 but its the principal that you did not honor YOUR OWN coupon that YOU sent out to ALL COOPER CITY LOCALS and...
