Juici Patties (Coral Springs, 8075 West Sample Road). Stores throughout SoFL.
Brand-new Juici Patties on Sample Road, across from El Bodegon plaza. A month in, and the patty counter is already starring in its own Monty Python sketch.
I showed up Sunday at 1:30. There’s a line, the staff are lovely — but the patty situation? Straight out of the Ministry of Silly Walks’ catering division.
Me: “I’d like a spicy beef, please.”
Clerk: “Sorry sir, the spicy beef is no more. It has ceased to be. Bereft of life, it rests in peace.”
Me: “What about mild?”
Clerk: “Alas, the mild has gone to meet its maker as well. But if you’d care to wait 20 minutes…”
(Translation: five minutes later, fresh trays appear because no one expects the Spanish Inquisition.)
Why no spicy beef? Probably because the filling is made in bulk at Juici’s central commissary in Miami. If they run out of the premixed spicy beef for the day, there’s no way to whip up a new batch onsite — it’s not like they’re grinding peppers and simmering beef in the back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
So I wound up with 8 mild and 4 chicken curry. Structurally, the patties are perfect: classic Jamaican shortened crust — flaky (so flaky you'll get flakes everywhere if you eat it out of its sleev), golden, blistering hot, with pureed meat filling that could burn the roof of your mouth faster than a Holy Hand Grenade. The chicken are also very good but not at all spicy; they have a nice curry flavor but aren't hot at all.
Price: $3.50 each, or a dozen discount that saves you… nine cents per patty. Yes, nine cents. At this rate, if you eat 1,000 patties you’ll have saved enough to buy a bottle of Ting. Cheese is $1 extra per patty (!!!) and the coco bread is also $3.50 each.
Verdict: Delicious patties. But if the spicy beef is “an ex-patty,” make sure you’ve got Grace Scotch Bonnet sauce in your pantry, because there’s no condiment cavalry coming from...

Restaurant traffic seems to be a little slower as of the date of my review, but it could be because (a) you have to enter the parking lot at the END of the plaza (one way) [I passed it before and said I was NOT turning back due to heavy traffic on Sample Rd.]; (b) parking can be a headache at times since there are many active establishments nearby; and (c) people are now realizing the store is actually open (it was on Google maps long before the store opened for business).
The patties were served hot enough to consume right away (no 3rd degree tongue burns). IYKYK!
This is not a big deal for some, but it is for me.. ♻️ I think the location could be a little more conservative with the individual patty bag packaging. I ordered a dozen spicy beef patties which were served in a nice, sturdy cardboard box. Each individual patty was nicely packaged in a paper sleeve indicating "spicy." While it keeps the patties hot and crispy in my dozen box, it was not necessary, especially when they were all one spice-level. This is definitely handy for multiple flavor patties. I appreciated the effort though. 😊
The girls answered all of my questions and were very personable. Great welcoming staff.
The rewards program is a plus too. Loyalty is rewarded with $ off future purchases. The way prices have tripled for a beef patty, you want to be sure to take part because you know you will not stop eating these patties!
Thanks for a location near me & my free promotional Juici bag during opening week! See you soon!

Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had to try the new Juici Patties here in Coral Springs after seeing their ad pop up on my timeline over and over — kudos to their marketing team because it definitely worked! I’ve been craving a good Jamaican beef patty, and this definitely hit the spot.
I ordered the #1 combo (two spicy patties and a drink for $8.99), and it was so good — flavorful with just the right amount of flake and crisp. You can tell they put care into the seasoning and texture. I’ll definitely be back soon for more! 🔥🥟 only thing I wish was different was...
