petNmind Naturals & Self-Wash — Local services in Coconut Creek

Since purchasing my dog's food at PetNmind my pet's fur and skin has been the healthiest it has been for the past 2 1/2 years. Prior to buying his food here -- he was suffering from a body rash which the veterinarian where "unable to find the cause." I was constantly at the vet paying for shots, antibiotic, shampoos and and special creams. All of these would alleviate the symptoms for awhile but it always came back. Then I discovered a new place that opened up that you can do self doggy wash called PetNmind. I went there to give my dog a bath and while the owner was showing me how to operate the "tub" I mentioned the chronic rash my dog has. Adrian the owner asked about my dog's diet. I told him I bought food at the local pet stores or at the supermarket. He encouraged me to purchase a different type of food -- more nutritionally higher quality. Adrian was very knowledgeable and even gave me sites that I can do research myself. I purchased the recommended food and I have no regrets!! That was 2 1/2 years ago. Now my dog is a happy, healthy and active 16 year old Pomeranian mix with very healthy skin. Thank you Adrian!! You saved me lots and...

I’m rating solely on the self-wash station and the staff that was present.

The positive: a cute place and was calm so fewer distractions for my dog and the soap comes out with the water you don’t have to lather yourself from a bottle.

The negatives: They only have one tub, no towels, and a broken tether for the tub.

The staff member was immediately negative when I brought my dog in because she has allergies, the staff member talked nasty to the cats as well which she chalked up to being because of her allergies.

The staff member made me feel very rushed and like a burden due to my dogs hair. She even mentioned me just taking her to get groomed but it’s a bonding thing for my dog and I and I prefer doing it myself.

I’ll probably return during a weekday with my other dog since she needs a calmer environment for a self-wash but will go back to pet supermarket for the grooming...

We have two dogs a German shepherd and a Pomeranian and we started taking them there for the self washing station(which is amazing by the way). Our German shepherd is a puppy and we started noticing he was biting his paws constantly so I thought maybe let’s ask Adrian his opinion. He told us it could be food related and he immediately helped us get on a new food and within days our German shepherd stopped biting his paws. Adrian is so knowledgeable in his field and I really love going there to even just walk around and buy treats. Everything in his store is natural and it makes me feel better knowing what our dogs are actually eating. He is also helping us with our Pomeranian and her coat!
