Old Town Grill of Corbin — Restaurant in Corbin

My family and our friends would go to old town grill 3-4x a week and loved it. The food was good, we liked that there was a variety to choose from, and the service was good too. We became close with many of the waitresses. We especially liked coming on singo night, my little boy loved dancing to the different songs and playing along. However one night about three weeks ago (8/6 to be exact) my family and our friends were out on the patio just hanging out and not bothering anyone (there was no one else out on the patio either) and the manager that night Mike came out and was completely disrespectful, cussing and carrying on, even told us to leave even though we did nothing wrong. After the confrontation while we were paying our bill even the waitresses came out apologizing for his behavior and said that it was very wrong of him to act that way. Even since we have had several of them reach out to us apologizing for what happened. We have not been back since this incident and don’t plan to unless Mike no longer works there. I hope he does not ever treat anyone like he did us that night but it probably will happen again so...

We had scratched the Corbin OTG off our list years ago due to quality of entrees and service but heard some good things of late and thought we’d give it a shot.

They put us at a booth by the bar and we had the bartender serving us. She was fantastic. It was happy hour and bar was packed on a Friday but she was very attentive to our table and took great care of us.

The special was Prime Rib and two our three ordered it Medium. Steak was one of the worst we have had anywhere. One of our party ordered a chicken dish and really liked it plus all of our sides were fine. Just not a place to order Prime Rib. Would not return based on the steak but would give it a shot for other offering except___

When I got the bill I noticed that they charged us for water. We spent over $100 ordering food and drinks while taking good care of our server but they charged us for tap water. Received bread and butter we didn’t want or order at no charge but stuck us with charges for tap water. Have eaten all over the country and Canada in the last year. That...

Walked in and waited 10 minutes as the host tracked down a waiter for us. Was seated and ordered our food. After a hour later I stopped our waitress as she was walking by to see how much longer as we were fixing to just leave. She said that they were having trouble with the one steak that was ordered well-done. She said she'd go to check on it. After another 15 minutes of waiting, our food was brought to us. Everything tasted good but then again we were all starving at that point. We had several kids with us that actually made the wait worse as they became frustrated for food. The manager apologized and stated that we'd recieve a 20% discount on our bill. After eating and then flagging down a waitress for the bill, we noticed that the calculation on the "20% discount" did not add up. We were just so aggravated with everything and kids ready to go home, we just decided to pay and leave. First time there and it will definitely be our last. Food isn't worth the long wait and...
