I hadn't eaten there in 2 or 3 years. I wanted fresh, hot, steaming Chinese to load up and take home. At 3:45 p.m. everything that is on the dinner buffet was recently set out. The best crab rangoons, hands down (except for the ones my beautiful girlfriend makes at home...love you!)! Eggrolls were warm and crispy and all the seafood fresh. The pork fried rice couldn't be matched. What had me worried, however, now living on a tighter budget, was how much this crammed packed, larger than biblical proportions, "how did all of THAT fit into ONE styrofoam box" meal was going to cost me taking it on the go (which was, I believe, a first for me...I'm definately the eat-till-ya-split-yr-pants buffet guy. Let's put it this way...I had dinner that night and lunch the following day for $10.78! I was just as satisfyingly full that evening at dinner and just as miserably filled up for lunch that next day. Wah Weng Garden was the first Chinese restaurant I tried upon moving to the tri-county area some 20 years ago. Sorry I had left you for so long, my Wah Weng, we are back to...
Read moreWe had 6 of us asked to split the check in two 3 and 3 we came at 745pm there was very, very little food. 2 of the people in our group didn't even eat cause there wasn't enough food to eat. They refused to make any more food because they said it was the end of the night when we got our bill. They charged us a $122, 46 people to eat a buffet that had no food on it, and they refused to make any more and 2 of us didn't even eat. Where is a $122 coming in? They only had 2 rows of food that wasn't even a regular Chinese like. Are you guys serious right now? They are horrible. Do not eat hair. Their food is horrible. Their service is horrible and they will overcharge you. They also, this is a buffet mind you I took a $17 tip for themselves out of our bill. They added it to our bill. They didn't even do anything for us. It was a self serve bar. By far one of the worst experiences me and my family have ever ever had.I will make sure that they will never be able to do that to another person again. This was the most horriblest place i've ever been to...
Read moreWelcomed in very nicely but they want to rush you through. I'm not a regular I don't know their menu or their process. The lady got annoyed I was asking questions.
I ordered Chicken lo mein and fried dumplings. The dumplings were really tasty and cooked perfectly. The sauce had just a touch of heat which I really liked.
The lo mein is still sitting in my refrigerator not eaten. I have never had tasteless lo mein until now. The noodles were way over cooked, the chicken had an odd texture and the veggies were barely warm. 10/10 do not recommend this dish as a take away.
I noticed most of their service is dine in which I have done several times here(2) with zero complaints about the food but also zero wow either.
I was fully anticipating a well cooked delicious meal and in all honesty kind of want my money back on that lo mein.
Atmosphere is tired and worn down. It's time to do a deep clean on the entrance and replace...
