We spend good money here every time we go. Last night we ordered hibachi, 4 rolls and soba so that was about $90. Got home and three of the rolls tasted off. The cucumber and avocado had a weird sharp flavor to them and just not fresh. Japanese isn’t cheap so serving food that isn’t fresh or good quality isn’t so easy on the pocket when it comes to waste. I called, they were nice and said they would remake it after calling back once they spoke to the manager. When I went back for the remake the girl who originally served me stuck her head out the window from behind the boy that was offering an apology, smile and sending me on my way. She and assured me it was the soy sauce that was bad…..we didn’t eat it with soy sauce and I told her that. She said they asked other customers and they said it was good. She could have just left it at the apology and trying to make it right not trying to tell me there wasn’t nothing wrong with it other than the soy sauce being bad. I could understand if it was the first time eating sushi and we didn’t know what to expect but that’s not the case. The remake was definitely more fresh tasting. All that needed to be done was not try to get over by using old avocado and cucumber. It was very obvious the difference in the first set of rolls and the second, my 8 year old knows his sushi and instantly knew as soon as he smelled the FRESH cucumber and avocado. Do better. Stop charging so much and the quality isn’t great and portions are skimp. Corbin already doesn’t have much good quality food to...
Read moreI went for lunch yesterday with my wife and 2 year old son, the food was subpar, the prices were outrageous (this was lunch mind you) I ordered a single sushi roll and chicken Hibachi, My wife ordered a soup and salad, and we brought our sons food. The service itself was good (from our waitress anyway and one other lady there, but the first person you see when you walk in looks like she wants to rip your head off) , but the portions were extremely small even with it being the lunch menu, and the prices were outrageous, we ordered a small pink lemonade for our son, was charged full price for a soft drink. ($3.50) Towards the end of our meal our son (who is 1 and a half) was acting like he was still hungry but did not accept any of our food, so we asked for a small bowl of rice to kind of hold him over until we get home. A large plate of rice was then brought out. We hesistantly accepted because we were not needing such a large portion for an 18 month old. I then asked for the bill and it was $71 and change. We were charged nearly $7 for a plate of rice, charged $4.50 a piece for the soup and salad, which could have been consumed in probably 60 seconds with how small the portions where. I have only left a handful of reviews online before, but the experience here was so apalling I felt the need to leave one, I had it yesterday and now im running to the bathroom every 10 minutes to vomit or have a bowel movement as well, I believe they undercooked the chicken in my hibachi.

Read moreI came to eat here in 2021, but at the time, the food was terrible. The sushi was dry, less than the standard 8 rolls, and they were the most overpriced tiniest things in the world that didn't even taste good.
Over a year later, I thought I would give it a shot because, surely, the chef must have changed, and maybe food got better. Boy, was I wrong. I got California rolls, tuna rolls, and gyoza. I'm very disappointed to say that this meal was the most disgusting thing I have eaten in my entire life. Their food got worse than what it was a year ago. The fish texture is grainy and brittle, where sushi fish is supposed to feel fatty and smooth, not brittle. California rolls didn't have enough rice and fell apart easily. The salmon had an off taste. Tuna rolls were the tiniest things I've ever seen. I even thought they forgot to give me an order of those. Tuna rolls fell apart, and Tuna tasted disgusting. Finally, when I took a bite of gyoza, I immediately spit it out gagging because of the atrocious smell of rotten meat.
On top of disgusting food and minimized portions (sushi serving is 8 rolls, not 6 as this restaurant serves), the price is outrageous. I paid $25 for this horrible food. I have eaten sushi in many countries, and this was the most disgusting, the smallest portion and the most expensive sushi I have ever had.
I never felt so unsafe eating any food as I did now. If you value your health and money, do not eat here. The staff is nice but not anything else. This place...
