Location had been getting a little bit better compared to when they very first open which I quit going to this location for a long time because of how rude the employees were and the service. Anyways I'm a psl fan and only reason I've been going to this location is because the next S.B. in London, KY is out of the pumpkin so no choice but to go to Corbin however it hasn't been that bad compared to when they open until my expericence I had this morning. I'm a loyal loyal starbucks drinker from 1 to 3 trips a day, I can pull receipts on what I've spent this year along at Starbucks in general is insane lol but I love it when it's good and I get treated like a human being. This morning I go through as I always do and ordered my psl of course it didn't taste as it is suppose to so after I pulled out I popped my lid took a sip and realized it was horrible no big deal tho I wasn't mad I whipped it around went back through the drive thru pulled up to the window it took a sec for someone to come but when that window opened and the worker said "yeah" I asked nicely can you remake this for me it doesn't taste right? The young man looks at me calls me by name and says I made your coffee and nothing is wrong with it so here is what we're going to do we're going to start charging you for every remake anytime we have to remake your coffee. Y'all I was stunned I kind of set there for a second it threw me off guard. "Keep in mind this location there machine messes up alot this come straight from the employees as well as the GM" then says I put two shots of espresso and put no whip on it so I know it tastes good. I looked at him handing the nasty coffee back to him and said I want it remade charge me for it I then proceeded to ask to speak to his manager she comes upto the window she was as nice as she could be trying to de escalate the situation she knew I was a customer that came in all the time buying coffee sometimes 3 times a day she tried apologizing for the workers actions but I was so upset to be treated the way he done me was crazy. He tried to make it out like I was trying to get free coffee when clearly that wasn't the case. He made me feel absolutely horrible I've never been disrespected by anyone ever as bad as he talked to me. I work in the food industry as a store manager and I as well as my employees would never ever treat anyone the way this young man treated me. I talked to cooperate as well as the district manager and I told them both I don't want anything given to me nor I want a gift card I just wanted them to know how this young man is going to cause them to loose many more customer's loyal customer's at that because of his actions. This had bothered me so bad and has had me upset all day. I spend enough money a month at Starbucks that I could pay mortgage or car payment and to get treated like a scumbag is completely unacceptable. I hope if this young man sees this he realizes he really hurt me. I get we all have bad days but if you can't come to work with a smile on your face ready to serve and take care of your customer's then maybe you need to reconsider working with the public. Really really thinking about deleting my entire Starbucks app that's...
Read moreThis particular Starbucks location consistently falls short in several aspects. The long lines are a recurring issue; just this Monday, I found myself waiting at the drive-thru speaker for a full five minutes before someone finally greeted me and took my order. Oddly enough, by the time I got to the front of the line, it had cleared out significantly, leaving me perplexed about the delay.
The quality of the drinks at this location has also been a consistent disappointment. They never seem to get hot enough, and the taste pales in comparison to what I've experienced at other Starbucks branches.
In my most recent visit, I hoped to grab a drink for a friend, but I was met with a chaotic scene. Cars were piling into the drive-thru, and the line was at a standstill. Frustrated, I decided to go inside, only to encounter a giant puddle of water right in front of the register. I had no choice but to stand in it while placing my order. To make matters worse, the cashier struggled with operating the scanner for the customer in front of me, causing significant delays.
What's even more concerning is that, three people waiting in the line ahead of me at the counter for ordering on app, none of their drinks had been prepared despite their ordering ahead.
This Starbucks location consistently fails to stock most seasonal drinks, even though they are listed on the menu board with signs indicating they are "not available" or "sold out." The overall inability to provide a variety of beverages is frustrating.
The root cause of these issues remains a mystery to me. It's disheartening that a Starbucks, known for its reputation and premium prices, cannot provide a consistently positive experience. This disappointment is compounded by the fact that this Starbucks was long-anticipated in the area, yet it has proven to be...
Read moreI can’t quite understand this place. For many years it’s been terrible.
Always out of everything. Seasonal drinks always missing an ingredient or two.
Recently I went through there to get a drink. No one in line, two cars in parking lot. Asked to wait. Sit there 5 minute or so. Again, no customers. Finally took my order.
Normal grande drink, $6.97.
Cashier was wearing a large respirator type mask, for Covid I suppose, but I couldn’t hear her talking at all. She’s dangling this thing out the window that says tip. Again, can’t hear anything she’s saying because the mask. Mask is fine, maybe she has immune system issues, or a relative with cancer or what have you, but speak up a little so I know what is needed to move the transaction along.
Got it paid and got the drink, but they had no sleeves and none of the little sticks that keep the drink hot and from spilling on the ride home.
So it’s hot as it can be can’t hold it, every time I hit a bump some comes out, so can’t really put it in drink holder either.
It’s always like this. They can’t quite get it together. Kinda sad. The employees are usually friendly, but whoever runs the place just isn’t...
