A few friends and I decided to catch up over an afternoon coffee at this cozy café. The space is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seating—though when we arrived, it was quite packed. Thankfully, we managed to find a table after a short wait.
It’s a self-service setup, so you place your order at the counter, which showcases an enticing array of pastries and desserts. I went with the Yemeni Latte—a Middle Eastern-style coffee that’s similar to a café au lait, but elevated with a touch of cardamom. The warm, spiced aroma and subtle sweetness of the cardamom gave the coffee a truly distinctive and comforting flavor.
I also tried the saffron milk cake, and it was nothing short of amazing—moist, perfectly sweet, and soaked in saffron-infused milk that instantly transported me to the desserts of India. My friends tried different pastries, and everyone was more than satisfied with their picks.
All in all, this café is a hidden gem for anyone looking to explore Middle Eastern-inspired coffee and desserts. Highly...

Tried a lot of different things but the Honeycomb bread, Kunafa Strawberries, and Adeni Chai were top tier.
The honeycomb bread was perfectly baked, crispy from the outside but so soft and fluffy from the inside. The chocolate covered strawberries paired nicely with the crispy kunafa bits, it added a nice crunch. The Adeni Chai was so rich, and you could really taste the depth of flavors in it. If you like Karak chai, this is similar but a lot stronger on the spices used to cook the chai.
Only complaint I can fairly give was that it was a bit untidy, tables were quite dirty and there was some trash on the floor and left overs on the tables with no one to attend and clean, but can’t blame them because it was Eid and very busy, and they must have also been understaffed.
Will definitely make the drive to visit again, and hopefully catch them on a less busier day to be able to enjoy the...
Read moreI love traveling and trying different coffees and teas, and this is by far the best coffee and tea that I have ever had. My husband got the adeni chai and it was so good he got another one to-go before we left! I got the muffawar coffee to start, and it is so creamy and packed with delicious spices (the cardamom flavor was strong but not overpowering). I got a pistachio matcha to-go and let me just say- I will be thinking about it for a very long time, it is by far the best matcha I’ve tried. If it says anything, my husband says even his burps taste good because they taste like the chai tea😂. If you’re ever in the area, please stop here! It was also reasonably priced (for a coffee, tea, and two cakes it was around $27 and the...
