I asked for my hashbrowns to be extra browned and my waffle to be cooked a little longer, so it was also browned. Neither were cooked correctly. My friend ordered a dish that had both ham and bacon. She asked to leave off the bacon and just replace it with more ham. When her dish came, it only had about 8-10 little pieces of ham. We called the waitress and asked about the portion. She said she would get another piece of ham at no cost. She came back in a minute and said the manager said that she couldn't do that. We asked to speak to the manager who was also the cook. He stated that the portion was pre-mesured and he could not add more ham. We asked for the number to speak to his supervisor. The manager went and got the number saying they would tell us the same thing. My friend told him that she was complaining about him. We went to pay, and she asked if they were going to take the order of bacon off her check. The manager stepped forward and said loudly that he was going to, but since she was complaining on him that he wasn't now. My friend matched his loudness, plus. It became a yelling match between them. The manager was not professional, nor did he look professional. He wore a cap, but as the cook, he should have also wore something over his beard. This could have all been solved by another helping of ham. I have worked in customer service and never would I have not solved a customer situation by something as small as a helping of ham. This manager has caused the loss of 2 customers and most likely our families and...
Read moreAbsolutely awful experience at Huddle House. I ordered my food, and when I started eating, I realized they completely messed it up and that the waffles that I had ordered were served cold…When I asked them to fix their mistake, they refused unless I paid for the entire order again. Their excuse? “You already took bites out of it.” How else was I supposed to know the inside was wrong without eating it? I wasn’t just going to start ripping my food apart like a savage before I started eating…Instead of owning up to their mistake, they doubled down on terrible customer service and basically told me tough luck, buy another order or eat that. Completely unprofessional and a poor excuse for a manager (Christy). I’ll never waste my money here again, and I suggest you don’t either. This is an establishment (I use that term very loosely) with management that doesn’t care about the customer just...
Read moreThe restaurant was very clean, and my server, Lydia, was incredibly friendly—she definitely deserves good tips. Southern hospitality beats “Minnesota nice” by a long shot.
The atmosphere was welcoming, with music kept at just the right volume. You can tell this place has a strong community feel, since so many regulars are on a first-name basis with the staff. The kitchen and prep areas also seemed more organized than many restaurants I’ve visited, which says a lot.
I ordered my food to go, and the turnaround time was excellent. The cook, James, prepared an outstanding burger. The egg was cooked exactly how I like it, and the burger itself was juicy without being messy. The bun had just the right balance—flavorful and moist but firm enough to hold everything together. The tater tots were delicious as well (I only wish there were a few more of them!).
Overall, I’d rate the experience a...
