Mi Toro — Restaurant in Corinth

For those of you that love this place, I have always loved it also for years and patronize it about once a week. However, all that changed this evening. My daughter’s and I decided to have dinner here as I was returning from working out of town. I ordered a margarita, we ordered food and the authentic guacamole. The food was good. The margarita was TERRIBLE! It tasted like straight cheap tequila. It was awful and I gagged at the first sip. I told the waiter and he offered to bring me another. It was almost as bad and now the glass was leaking! The drink literally pooled up and ran across the table 3x and I cleaned it up. I went to the counter to pay and the guy (possibly manager or owner) asked if everything was okay. I stated no and explained to him. He shrugged and stated they serve drinks all the time. I confirmed I knew and I’ve had drinks there before and they’ve been great but this was just disgusting. He would not take it off. I paid for it of course but they have lost my business along with my family’s business. This was very poor customer service. I returned to my table and retrieved the still almost FULL nasty drink and sat it on the counter as we were leaving so he could see it hadn’t been consumed and see the glass leaking; it was obviously cracked somewhere. He seemed to not care. It’s sad that he doesn’t care about his customers. This community has supported Mi Toro but if this becomes the norm, their success...

We used to eat here all the time. It was one night a week let then it changed. There were different owners I believe I don't know what happened but they definitely changed the way they made things. Where you used to get an enchilada with enchilada sauce do you have to be careful and tell them you do not want green stuff. Cuz you might get a load of green on top of everything so tell them what topping you want or if you want none at all. It's a pretty inexpensive place to eat or drive-thru. You usually pull up beside the building and they will bring it out to you. As with any other takeout check your order before you drive off. Sometimes they may not understand what you're saying, so it's a good idea to have them repeat back what you ordered. I do have to complain about the chips being old and stale real frequently here. This is what I ordered Pollo Popeyes $14.25 2 grilled chicken breasts marinated in a special sauce, cooked with spinach and tomatoes. Covered in cheese dip. What I got was one very thin chicken breast butterflied it was paper thin and a few pieces of cut up tomatoes and six or seven leaves of spinach. My Children ordered the burger and fries. There were like 10 fries on each plate my sons burger was burnt he only ate half of it. I’m not a complainer so I didn’t say anything. The fried ice cream had freezer burn. And still I didn’t say anything. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and he was happy. He got the giant el ray burrito man that thing was huge. Everyone had a good time and...
