The moment you step inside, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee envelops you, promising a delightful experience. The shop's ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting, comfortable seating, stellar music and an eclectic mix of locally sourced goodies lining the walls.
The true highlight of BSG is its owner, Zach, whose thoughtfulness and passion for coffee are evident in every detail. Zach takes the time to get to know each customer, often remembering their favorite orders and personal stories. This personal touch creates a sense of community that is rare and cherished.

Read moreThis past fall we went to the Cornelia Apple Festival and met Zach (sp?), the owner. They were giving away free samples of their coffee and he talked about his passion for coffee. He said that his first location up in NC was thriving, so he wanted to open one closer to home. They finally opened a few days ago, so My wife and I went there today and loved it! It has a very cozy feel with wood floors, cool decor and a great music playlist in the background. Zach (again, sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong) was very excited to tell us about his coffee and lots of details about the new location. He let us taste the coffee that he recommended and we really liked it, so we each ordered a cup. It was great! My wife ordered a pastry that he said was made in Atlanta at a special bakery. It was very good as well! We will be back for sure. In a world of chains and sterile shopping malls, it's nice to see a quaint little coffee shop in a downtown in a nice, old school downtown run by an owner that is passionate about his business. I'm really praying that they thrive in this location. Please go support them, you...
Read moreVery cool older building nice atmosphere. Big space with plenty of seating. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant. The owner, Zack, was present as well and was also pleasant and engaging. Don’t start a conversation with him unless you have time, you will not get out quickly. My wife and I chatted with him for a really long time. We learned quite a bit about the town and coffee. Challenge Zack to a chess game, if you win, you get free coffee. Be forewarned, he has an 800 rating.
Our coffee was very good and my wife got a chicken salad croissant which she liked. We will return when we are again passing through.
Edit: While there, we bought a bag of Magic Brew Bus which we tried once we got home, Rochester, NY. After making our first pot, we liked it so much, we ordered 4 more bags on the website. This may become our new “go to” replacing the Kona we have been...
