So I ordered my son a birthday cake for first birthday and I was very specific about what I wanted I called it in a month before his birthday and then picked up the day before I went in personally and had a 30 min meeting designing his cake I thought it was going to be perfect, I told her I want vanilla cake smash cake with buttercream frosting, so again nothing hard with some designs and his name in frosting the one owner said that’s perfect super nice and good, we had to pay for the cake two weeks before it even got made and it was 40$ for a smash cake but I thought it’ll be perfect that’s fine, my dad picks up the cake and I tell you I’ve never been so upset in my life, it was old probably made a month ago it was rock solid hard dry and flavorless, and not to mention not what I asked for in the slightest and fondant so my son couldn’t even enjoy his smash cake, I called them to let them know and the one owner answered said hey no problem bring it back we’ll do a refund okay that’s fine I get there and that’s when it went bad, she told me to wait on her other owner which again was a 10 min wait she walks in started immediately saying nothing is wrong with her cakes and it’s perfectly fine and I said no I showed pictures of my son and my not even being able to punch it it was so hard so she takes the cake goes to back grabs and fork and starts eatting my sons cake stuffing her face and claiming it’s fine, at this point other customers are looking at this lady like she’s done went crazy, I said I came for a refund that’s all I won’t be back here this is crazy the elderly couple spoke up and told her the same thing she then starts crying and shaking because I wanted my money back for a terrible cake so then she runs away for like 10 mins in the little side room and left me and the customers there I was speaking to them and some just up and left after her temper tantrum, as she’s giving money back she’s talking to herself downgrading and being rude so when I got the money I left and don’t plan on ever going there and I told everyone I know never to go here because if there going to treat loyal customers of years like this they don’t deserve a hand out if they can’t...
Read moreVery disappointed cake extremely overpriced $106.00 for a cake that would have been 25 at Ingles would have been ok but decoration just ok it was a fairy cake and ferry was a very small paper cut out overall cake was very small on the bright side flavor was good and cake was fresh but they let some of the icing melt and run for the money a very bad deal 8 22 22 Sugartopia reached out to me next day I'm assuming after they saw my review I could be wrong there though but when I purchased cake they said sorry but there was nothing they could do but owner called apologized and offered full refund which I declined because I did get a cake so we agreed on 50 percent I know I did not send pics of what I wanted but I did assume for $106.00 the cake would be considerably larger and the figurine of ferry on top would not be a 2 inch tall paper cut out in my opinion they have a good product that is over priced I would recommend with a caution to be thorough with what you get...
Read moreOur wedding cake turned out EXACTLY how I envisioned it (if not better than how I imagined it would be). The cake was moist and flavorful. The cupcakes were affordable, delicious, and gorgeous. My favorite decor from our entire event ended up being the cake table and cupcake area. With all the sparkly elements we had for our special day, I was worried how it all would look together. Sugartopia created edible masterpieces that brought the entire look together. Every time we speak with one of our guests about the wedding, they mention how delicious the cake was. I am more than happy to recommend Sugartopia to anyone looking for a cake vendor for their special day. We can't wait to eat our one-year anniversary cake. Until then, we hope to make it out to Cornelia again so we can try some of the other delicious treats their storefront offers. Many thanks to Wendy and her team for bringing our...
