Sabores Bakery NC — Restaurant in Cornelius

My husband read about this place and wanted to surprize me with a piece of chocolate cake. He walked in the house with a plain white bag with handles, I couldn't wait to see what he got me. The cake was heavy. It looked rich and dark and fudgy just how cake should look. I took a bite...WAIT...Did they forget to add sugar?! This is CAKE! It should be SWEET! At least a tiny bit! And it wasn't fudgy, more like a doughy texture. It was dense. I'm not sure what the frosting is. It looks maybe like a "ganache type" thing but it had more of a slimey texture like loose caramel. I'm not pleased at all having to spend $9.00 on a single piece of cake that in my opinion was not edible.
