Food Lion — Local services in Cornelius

Do yourself a favor and go to Publix or Aldi. Every time I go into this Food Lion in Cornelius, which isn't often, I have a bad experience. Yesterday, an employee was extremely rude. He was stocking shelves. He had the back of his pants down showing his entire underpants, covered in tattoos and long stringy hair. That wasn't necessarily the problem, the problem was that he pushed us out of the way, did not excuse himself or let us know he needed to get by, then when we were at the end of the isle he said we were entitled and other stuff he mumbled under his breath. When we spoke to the manager, a young person, he looked like a deer in headlights, but didn't seem to care about the appearance of indecent exposure or the rudeness to a customer. He finally apologized after I requested one. They aren't any cheaper than other stores, so just go somewhere else for a better experience. And somewhere that knows how to...

Patronized the Cornelius Food Lion and found the store was clean, and the associates were very polite and accommodating. I found my products were in stock....and I do have to say...the products I bought were about a $1 higher for the Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno crunchy verses Walmart's price for same item...$2.50...all the time price...not just on sale...and the Australian Gator extra sharp block specialty cheese ..about $1.00 higher than Walmart's price @$3.25... Food Lion's location is convenient for me...there is another location about 2 miles from my house...but the new Walmart market place is only about 3 miles...so I usually go there ....Just SO happenly I was in Cornelius w/ business. Watch out Cornelius Food Lion and Harris Teeter people.😳..you dont have a walmart market place there close by yet.......but maybe coming to your area...

Food Lion in Cornelius is my go-to grocery store and my favorite in the area. It’s much better than the ones in Huntersville—always tidy, clean, and well-organized. There are usually no long lines at checkout, which makes for a quick and stress-free shopping experience. The prices are great, and using your Food Lion card gets you even more discounts, so it’s budget-friendly too.

Many other reviews also mention how friendly and helpful the staff are, and I completely agree. They’re always ready to assist and make sure you find what you need.
