Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the water I asked for.

We originally got a macaron, a mini tart a croissant sandwich an iced coffee and a latte. I didn’t buy my daughter a drink because the sugar of the pastries was enough and thought she would have been fine, but she ended up asking if there was water. So I thought I could ask them for a cup with water. I realized they had a fridge with a big bottle of a water that said PH water for sale but figured for what she drinks, I would just ask if they could give me a cup of water. The girl was friendly, and said yes even offered ice. However, I realized the water was coming straight from the tap. I didn’t really want to think bad because I’m sure many restaurants even Starbucks might use tap water, but when I saw the cup with water it was yellow and looked dirty. I walked to my table and told my little one she could drink it and that I would explain it to her outside.

The problem I guess it’s not the tap water, it’s how dirty the water looked.

Honestly, when I told my daughter that, we grabbed our stuff and decided to leave. It makes me worry if that’s the water we have in our drinks(very likely) and I got really bummed that I spend $22 dollars on this visit. I couldn’t drink my latte after that and I regretted not going to the Starbucks right in front instead. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting this place again. I like supporting small businesses, but this I really wouldn’t want to support. I’m a stay at home mom who works side hustles to be with my kid so that’s my money I spent here because it was an outing with her and our friend.

The pastries are good, but the croissants and drinks aren’t special in my opinion. The croissant sandwich wasn’t warm . It felt like the ham was just folded with cheese and put in the microwave for a couple seconds. The cheese was barely melted. Would I have came back even knowing that, maybe. But not after seeing the water they gave me. I couldn’t believe the audacity to give me a water that clearly was yellow. It makes me doubt what they use for the rest of the stuff. So unfortunately that was enough for me to not want to come back.

The water looked...

Really like this bakery, all of the ladies working there are so nice every time I come here I notice such positive good demeanor they hold and I really feel this is a safe space to have a vanilla latte and chill.

from coming to this location for over 3 years I think this establishment operates really well and is a treasure for Green River’s little community.

I’ll keep it real the sweets are really good and big portions are nothing to complain about, the cannoli, cakes , tiramisu, macaroons, tarts, and lemon bars and crème brûlée are my go to (lol) and I really l would like to put emphasis on the exquisite taste of the cakes because you will have a great conversation started at the table at how you managed to find such a scrumptious delight. I will begin by reviewing the first cake I bought from here, a chocolate cake; it’s just not often you eat a cake that’s not too sweet but the sweetness is classy and succulent, it’s tender so it’s not overbearing. The cake itself is not too heavy and not hard, its fluffy layers bond with the chocolatey gooey crème it’s like the crème in between has such well versed relation to the cake and its result doesn't form a gluttonous concentrated taste. And it’s not too much. My family is middle eastern and this is their favorite place to buy cakes for events and parties.

I saw some reviews stating the opposite and I think there are sometimes customers that have a acquired taste but speaking as a customer and local I think it’s too much when the opportunity In writing a review is abused to bring down a family business..

Choco bakery is pretty popular within the community and I’ll support this wonderful spot and check out the Anahiem hills location some other time too! Love...

We stopped by Choco bakery after a couple of hours at Romp-O-Rama, because after looking on the website at all the baked goods, it looked so delicious. I bought a variety of different treats, spending about $50 for everything. First off, the girl that was helping us was pretty rude. Like I was bothering her by ordering. One of my kids asked for an additional cupcake, and the girl turned around and rudely said, "You want something else?" Very off putting. I am a customer, spending money at your bakery. Anywho, while these treats LOOK amazing, the taste leaves much to be desired. The Napoleon dessert's puff pastry was so tough we couldn't even cut through it. The filled cookies, that I expected to have some snap to the cookie part were crumbly and flavorless. The pistachio baklava had so much rose flavoring, it was uneatable. I could go on, but I won't. Everything honestly tasted like it was refrigerated and defrosted to put in the case as needed. We...

Great bakery with good prices. This is a hidden gem in a remote shopping center. They bake cakes to order. We ordered one for my sisters birthday and everybody loved it. Their pastries are not too sweet. Also their prices are reasonable as everybody right now is raising their prices. We will definitely be ordering more cakes from them in the future.

Right off the 91, this hidden treasure serves not cakes and pastries, but happiness and flavors. I walked in to get 1 cake, and walked out with 6 and a Turkish coffee. The cakes were fresh, soft, creamy and extremely flavourful. If you happen to be in the area or just in the mood of some happiness, stop on by and thank yourself later!
