Green River Cafe — Restaurant in Corona

So I went to IHOP this morning with my daughter, but they were insanely packed with over an hour wait. So we headed down the road to Green River Café, and got sat down immediately with amazing customer service. I would much rather support a family owned restaurant such as this versus a corporate one like IHOP. Our server was all smiles with an amazing attitude as well were the other servers and staff. I met a friend here for breakfast this morning. We were met by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. I had the French Toast and my friend had the pancakes.

The portions here are big. Most places give you 2 slices of bread for French toast, so 4 pieces. Here they give you 4 slices. They tasted good too. They werent too eggy, and had just enough vanilla and cinnamon.

My friend's pancakes were big also, almost 12" diameter. He said they were really good. The bacon was crispy, which is a huge plus.

It was nice and quiet, order came up quiet quickly, server was very diligent to our needs. Ordered fried chicken sandwich with steak fries. I was expecting greasy chicken and fries that tasted like chicken grease. Not even close, chicken wasn't greasy or dried out, fries were perfect. Light crispy on the outside and soft potato inside, lightly seasoned. Amazingly good going to let all my friends. Looks like they might be selling whine and beer...
