Denny's — Restaurant in Corona

Bad experience with our server today. This is a five star place because the service is always great but the server today was just bad. He seems to be in a bad mood all the time. When we first got seated it took a while for him to come get our order for drinks so a nice lady who is usually cleaning noticed and she offered to get our drinks going. That bad server who finally arrives comes to our table not even greeting us or anything just simply says “ you ready”. Simply unprofessional but we go ahead and order. We understand its busy and understand they have a lot of tables to cover but even then that doesn’t mean they should act unprofessional with the customers. While we are waiting a bit for food he walks by a couple times and never ask if we would like more coffee . It was actually the lady cleaning the tables who was really nice to us, the one who actually offered to bring us more coffee while we waited for food. She was more professional than the actual server. When our actual server comes back with our food he just drops it not saying a word , doesn’t ask if we need anything else. He just leaves our table and then like 15 min later comes back and LITERALLY walks by sliding the check on the edge of the table and keeps on walking. Never asks us if we would like some more coffee or anything else. Almost felt like he was trying to rush us to finish. If he is going to be serving customers with that attitude than he should just stay home. Next time i go ill make sure to ask not to be served by him, mostly all the servers are always great!! Five star place just a bad server that ruined...

Their breakfast is delicious, all their other food is bland and expensive. The place was very hot the last time that we were there, but they were going to remodel the restaurant; they should be done now, and I hope the restaurant looks nicer and their AC is cooler. We forgot about this review :’( And we ordered something other than breakfast food, and it wasn’t good :’( definitely I won’t eat anything other than breakfast food at Denny’s anymore, it’s sad and it shouldn’t have to be that way, if you sell food please make delicious food don’t do it just for the money :’( I’m used to eating delicious tasty food. My mom said her steak was very hard, my daughter tasted the steak and she said that it had a bad after taste, they liked my fish and chips but to me the fish was bland and over fried. Our lady waitress didn’t like it when my mom said she was a Senior, and the lady wouldn’t give her a discount, because she didn’t ordered from the Senior menu, my mom is obviously a Senior but she wasn’t offered a Senior menu, confusing... The place improved because of the remodeling but for whatever reason, they keep the place super warm, they just don’t like turning on the air conditioning or maybe the workers like it hot, but is very uncomfortable to seat and wait and eat on such a warm place. I love their breakfast though and the male waiter is a bit nicer, so definitely we’ll be going back for their delicious breakfast...

The burgers were really greasy and tasted old and there was a customer with a kiddo who had pink eye. Its not usually an issue for me, but this kids eye was oozing pus and the workers who were helping that table were not consistently washing their hands. The poor kiddo was rubbing his eye and touching the table. My question is, if someone has such an infection and gets that infection on table, how quickly can it spread? The worker touched items and food from their table and went to other tables before washing his hands. Pink eye (kids mom said he had pink eye) which is what it was, spreads rapidly. Everything that kiddo touched was contaminated and the server spread the bacteria to everything he touched and potentially to other people. I'm not discriminating against anyone at all. If you are sick or have something contagious STAY HOME! Dennys should have asked the family to leave and come back with an eye patch or something to catch the pus. They should have done this not to discriminate, but to keep the virus from spreading throughout their restaurant.
