Taqueria La Tapatia — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Well this place is really close by and I am ashamed that I have barely made my way here. The place is lovely and the staff are awesome in their service to their customers. I ordered breakfast and it was brought quickly as was my beverage. There were multiple waitresses attending all tables so refills weren't a problem. Staff was really friendly and was feeling like I was at home. My only problem is that there are too many tables in the restaurant so I had to sit at the side of my table because somebody in the next table was sitting really far out. I should be able to sit correctly at my table instead of be innovative in coming up with a solution myself. Other than this the place is perfect! Good food and beautiful waitresses!!...

Apparently they charge $1 more than what is listed on their to go menu Outside when you order. They said it was because it was to go, I don't know why they don't put that on the to go menu then? The menudo was good and pretty big for a small so it was worth it, however just be prepared at some prices being more than listed. Their salsa was extremely spicy and they added ALOT of jalapeno to the cilantro and I didn't know until I took a bite. So if you like really spicy things then that's great, if not, then be weary and specify because I asked for cilantro and onion but I guess they premix it for menudo sides. I was looking for vegetarian food and was pleased to find that they serve breakfast all day. I can always find something on a breakfast menu. We got a breakfast burrito, a ground beef burrito, and a soft taco. I could only eat half of the breakfast burrito. It was huge. My husband finished his taco & about 1/5th of his burrito. His burrito was also huge. They were both fabulous. If you like cheese, have them put cheese on your burrito. They cover it in cheddar cheese & then melt it. Mmm.
