Pare Hangout Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I had heard good things about the food here but I must be in a different hangout ramen and bar the food took forever Teriyaki chicken bento box Teriyaki salmon bento box when we finally got our food it was room temp and I was going to order a tea but saw that the lid was missing on the machine and there were flies so I didn’t trust it and ordered water which come to find out was from the tap and tasted awful isn’t it a health code violation not to have a lid on the tea machine? The spring rolls Crab Rangoon and Pork dumplings are hard flavorless and gross it also seemed like the owner was being short tempered and snappy towards the employees and I don’t like that or appreciate it one bit so I’m disgusted overall with this restaurant she definitely doesn’t know how to run a restaurant the bad food and service is probably because of low employee moral why are they going to work hard for someone who degraded them loudly enough for us to hear we will not be returning unless under...

From the sticky tables to the overdone noodles and gelatinous sushi rice, we did not have a good experience here.

We looked online and decided what we wanted before we came in, including the Tan Tan Ramen. When we got seated and looked at the menus the info for the Tan Tan was different than on their website and the menus they have posted on google maps. We asked if we could have it made the way it was listed online and they agreed but we didn’t discover they charged us extra for that privilege until we got the check.

The Raman, both Tan Tan and Miso had pretty tasteless broth on top of the mushy noodles. It seems like there are times when this place is great from reading the reviews so we evidently just missed a good window. I hope they work in consistency.

They were great when they first opened! But I’m not sure if they’ve gotten a new cook or they’ve just gotten lazy… the last three times I’ve gotten different things…but each time it always tastes “off” the noodles are dry and crunchy when they’re supposed to be soft…things like that.
