Ordered pizza from this location due to the many great reviews and was surprisingly disappointed upon delivery…. We ordered wings - delivery did not include wings. They said they were out of wings. They failed to call us to notify us of this prior to delivery. I ordered extra sauce on my pizza and it was fairly dry so I know there was no extra sauce. They delivered a supreme pizza to me and charged me $30 which I never ordered a supreme pizza. Called them about the refund and they claimed I did order a supreme pizza… never in my life have ever ordered supreme. We did not get a receipt for our order. I did sign one upon delivery for our order which made me nervous hoping my refund would show up. Which I did see the refund of $29 but did not include the tax that I was charged. I had to call them back to get my tax refunded. Maybe it was just a bad day for the team but they don’t get a second chance to make a first...

New York Pizza To-Go on Padre Island came highly recommended by my boss, so I was excited to give it a try. When I arrived, the place smelled amazing and the pizza looked fresh and well-made. The staff had it ready quickly, and it was clear that the pizza had just come out of the oven.

However, this is strictly a carry-out location with no dine-in option, which meant I had to take my order back to my hotel about 20 minutes away. By the time I arrived, the pizza had already lost most of its warmth. I expected the flavor to really stand out, especially given the price, but I found it to be underwhelming. In my opinion, chain restaurants like Pizza Hut or Peter Piper Pizza offer better flavor and value for a lower price.

I called 13 minutes before close and was just told they were closed. They weren't doing any more orders. I said you don't close till 8:00. They said well we have a family emergency. Sorry. Not good business at all. I'm not one to leave a review ever but this was obviously the employees not wanting to take another order. If you don't want to take orders all the way until a certain time, you should just close earlier. Having somebody write a review response just to make the review look unworthy ish, not the way to do it. I've been a customer service my whole live Aunt when somebody doesn't want to take the business because they're done and tired for the night is no excuse.
