Update: It’s been a little less than a year since our first purchase from this store (dining table and chairs) and the chairs we spent about $350 a piece are literally coming unglued and one is no longer safe to sit on! The “wood look” is also peeling off in some areas. We decided to pop back into the store to let them know and ask if a warranty was offered. The person we spoke with said their was no warranty and pretty much admitted they had other complaints about some chairs and that the wood glue used on these chairs could not withstand the humidity of the beach climate or short term rental use. We keep the chairs indoors in our climate controlled unit and are really surprised this happened so quickly given cost of this furniture. Don’t let the high price tag of this furniture lead you to believe this is high quality/durable furniture. It is not. Look for high quality furniture elsewhere or find better quality at IKEA. Initial review: We bought a few items from this furniture store and spent A TON of money in the last 6 months. Cute items, a bit over-priced. My negative review is regarding their return policy and customer service. Make sure if you buy something that you absolutely love it before you leave the store! They only do exchanges and this must happen in the same calendar year. It makes things difficult when you live in another city (which we explained to several staff and the owner). We might be stuck with a $250 painting that didn't work in our space and we weren't planning to be back in town until April to search for a replacement. Since learning this store credit must happen in the same calendar year (and the owner wouldn't make an exception) we are now planning to drive in December 31st to try to find something. Also, they only sell what's currently in the store and will not special order anything that you liked that previously sold. (Hence, we might be stuck with this painting, or buying items we don't really want as a replacement) Some of their policies are very rigid and not customer service oriented. Buyer beware! We found some lovely furniture for our beach rental, much to our surprise when we went to purchase the cost of every piece had gone up in less than 24 hours! Nothing is tagged, so they can just make it up! We took a chair out on approval to try in our space, this was very clear to the salesperson. When we brought it back, we had a terrible time getting a refund. They also offered to consign our "old" furniture, which seemed like a useful service, but turned out to be another rip off!
