A must stop for anyone visitor and a delight for lucky locals, who can have it whenever they want. They have gelatos and soberts. Multiple size cones and cups for those that want a delicious small treat without having to worry about calories. There are so many flavors to choose from that it's impossible to not find one or multiple favorites. Hubs had the Tiramisu gelato and loved it. The kiddo had a small cone with several gelato flavors. I tried the panini with lime sobert. There are dairy and sugar-free options. I also tried the passion fruit gelato (a very enjoyed European flavor), and it was very good. It's like returning to Europe with a taste. For gelato and strong flavored soberts, the flavors were very accessible. We have paid far more in San Antonio and Austin for less amount. Definitely don't misd out on the opportunity to try it, and say hello to the nice and kind lady who is...
Read moreI want to start off by saying I am not one to talk down on anything but, this needs to be made aware. I was in Corpus Christi for vacation for roughly one week. A family member wanted to try a local desert shop so we went with the idea and stumbled along this shop. It was around 6pm by the time we went, the reviews and ratings seemed good but when we showed up, they were closing even though it clearly states they are opened until 11pm/12am. Around 7pm the next day we pull into a spot and see they are closing early (again) the worker came up to us and said she was running late for a delivery but she promises she will be open tomorrow until they actually close, next day we drive back and yet again at 8pm, they are closed. It’s one thing if you’re understaffed, its another if you’re...
Read moreSo incredibly disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite places on the island, so I had to stop by while in town. I bragged profusely to my friend about it and insisted on going. I knew it had a new owner and new name, but heard they bought the recipes. I ordered two ice cream cones and when they gave them to me I thought the server was joking, the portions were ridiculously small. It wasn’t a joke. The texture was not as good as it used to be, but the flavor was still good. It was the smallest serving I have ever had. I wasn’t really hungry, so I just took the small serving, but when I had to pay almost $16 for these tiny ice cream cones, I was too stunned to speak. I would have gladly paid that price for what I received in the past. Next time I will go over the bridge to Marble Slab or go to Sweet Swirl Frozen Yogurt...
