I don’t know why we keep going to this Sonic on the Island if their service is so bad. I guess we go because it is convenient. Tonight we stopped for ice cream…just ice cream. My husband pulled up to the drive through and ordered. He couldn’t understand the young lady because the speaker was clipping. Apparently the young lady had a hard time hearing my husband as well. Well as all miscommunication happens he received the wrong order. He repeated what he ordered and she said, “well I heard wrong.” My husband the way he is, he said “that is okay I will eat what you made me since we couldn’t understand each other.” But, not okay with me because what he was gonna eat he wouldn’t ever eat on any regular day. So I said “no take it back and make him what he wanted.” The girl gave me a hateful look and took it back. My husband ordered a banana split sonic blast and they gave him a banana split. So when the young lady returned with the “Sonic Blast” it looked like they threw the banana split into a blender and took the runny concoction and poured it into a cup. The girl asked my husband if he wanted a straw or a spoon which perplexed him because he always enjoys his blasts with a spoon. After driving away he took a bite of his blast and it was so runny he spilled it everywhere. Well we returned to the store and he proceeded to talk with a manager. The general manager followed my husband back to our vehicle because he asked for the receipt!! He didn’t correct the situation however, he gave us our money back. He should have at least offered to give us a correct product. Horrible service. I know people will say give them a break they are probably short on help. This was not short on help...
Read morePlaced order... Was cut off mid way through confirming order... Drive through screen never displayed my order leaving me to wonder if I had actually placed the order... Went to door to ask if order was placed and was told by one associate she didn't know... And that she did not understand the question or have any clue if order was placed, while another associate told us they are working on the order , we just need to be patient and wait... Order was completed... Gave associate my card to pay... She returned giving my card back... No thank you , no have a good night, and most upsetting... No ketchup & no offer of any condiments... Food was good except grilled chicken sandwich... Chicken was cold and rubbery, bun was wet and soggy... Like it had been setting awhile...

Been going to that Sonic for a long time... Since moving to new location... I have never seen it so dead during the 3 days we were just there (last week)
Customer service seems to be an issue as was confirmed by other Islanders...

I pushed the order botton again to tell them I ordered a Pina Colada slush and not a strawberry daiquiri slush, the person taking the order told me that was the way it came. The car hop Emily brought out the strawberry daiquiri slush and a cherry lime slush. I informed the car hop Emily I had ordered a Pina Colada slush and not a strawberry daiquiri slush. I also told her I had not ordered a cherry lime slush. She had an attitude as she walked off to bring out the right order. She was mumbling something as she walked away. If I had not given her the money for our order, I would have just left. When she came back with the right order she still had an attitude. I usually tip the car hops at Sonics,...
