(2nd Edit: you say you do not accept CSL cards yet you have repeatedly taken his and processed it without question when HE has used it. He has other cards as well, so if that specific card had actually been a problem, he would’ve used one of those instead. Also, short staffing does not excuse a poor attitude, especially when it’s been ongoing for a couple of years now, including on slower shifts. You clearly do not know how to take accountability or hold your staff accountable for that matter. Good luck in the future✌️. PS I’m not the only one who’s complained about that waitress)

I’ve been a fairly frequent customer for the past 4 years. While the older lady is always very sweet and provides excellent service, there are two employees who need to adjust their attitudes. One is the taller young lady; she is not friendly or courteous at all. She will look right at me as I walk in and either turn her back and let someone else ring me up for my take outs, or she’ll ring me up while barely even making eye contact. She was also rude to me one time about a debit card she insisted wasn’t going to work even though my husband has used it many times without her ever having said anything to him about it. After four years, I deserve a little bit more curtesy as I do my best to be pleasant because they have great food. The other employee is the young man who answers the phone. He does not sound happy to be there at all, or at least not to be answering the phone. The phone is the lifeline of any business. Being short with customers, not to mention hanging up on them when they’ve answered “no” to the question “anything else?” does not make a very good impression. Please try to take a more professional approach, both of you. It’s sad to think the that older lady works so hard and places her trust in two people who do not possess the same work ethic she does. Although we live right by this establishment, we’ve visited less and less over time because of this issue. Now I’m editing my initial review before we end up deciding to do away with business here altogether. Please address this...

This is such a disappointing place to have a meal.. my boyfriend had warned me that he stopped going there because of the crappy waiting service, but being in a rush, we decided to try it again. HUGE MISTAKE.. one taco and one plate of eggs should NEVER take 30 minutes, yet half an hour later we were still hungry and waiting… the waitstaff had to make coffee, giving us a tiny top off, and then never came back with the “fresh” pot to refill our cups… sadly this is in the neighborhood somewhat, but it wasn’t worth the waisted time, nor the uppity attitude from the tweens waitressing. Glad we left, and we will spread the word of the awful experience at this taco shop....

Omg! I’ve had the carne asada tacos. AMAZING!! The meat is so well seasoned, the tortilla is so soft, thick, and fluffy!!! My bf had the carne guisda and he loved them! Prices are really good for the quality and amount you get! This is really a hidden gem in Flour Bluff. Stop by and try them out! Located right before entering NAS Corpus Christi!
