Barton St. Pub — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Tonight was my first visit to Barton St. Pub. The place is just off the freeway, near the water. The exterior is unassuming, there is ample paved parking in the rear. Upon entering the place, I was surprised to see how interesting a spacious and interesting room. There is a roomy stage with lighting and sound, including floor monitors. The lovely lady who does the karaoke show came to my table and we had a friendly conversation. She was very welcoming and nice. I sang three songs and my favorite versions were played. There wasn't a large crowd but those there were courteous to singers. I had my 1 drink limit and it was good and cheap. There are televisions throughout showing sports programming, a monitor showing daily drink specials and several with the song lyrics. I've been to several karaoke establishments in the area and this is, by far, the best. It is among the better I've visited throughout the US. The restrooms are very clean and the whole place has a clean, comfortable feel. I also noticed a sign advertising free pool nightly. I highly recommend Barton St. Pub for karaoke and leisure time. I didn't rate the food because I didn't have any food here. I just drank 😏 But let me tell you, the vibe here was just my style! A few friends and I stopped by after a dinner party (we weren't ready to end our evening) and one of them suggested Barton. We were skeptical but close by, so we dropped in. Immediately I felt relaxed and comfortable with the people there. The drinks were great, which surprised me because usually small places like this don't have great mixed drinks, but these were great! 🍹 My friends drank beer, I had 2 tequila sunrise 🌅 🤪 and then the karaoke began! Loved this place. You can enjoy an array of different alcoholic beverages. They sell pitchers of the select beers they have on tap. The staff is friendly and service is quick even on busy nights. They'll even come out from behind the bar to see if you need any thing. The environment usually consists of a regular local crowd and the entertainment is usually karaoke but they have many more amenities.
