I used to come here years ago when Michael did my nails. He did a great job but after a while? They started NOT to CARE about their quality of work so I moved on to the island and couldn’t be happier. Years later? I decided to let my 10 year old daughter go in for her nails while I shopped at H‑E‑B. After shopping, I picked her up and tipped Mary for the job she did. $40 IS in my opinion is A LOT for a new set of acrylic nails for such small hands but that’s neither here nor there. Got home and the very next day my daughter was upset as two nails had fallen off. The nails also appeared to be much larger than her actual nails. The paint job was horrible. Bumpy and clumpy!! I was soooo disappointed!! She asked us to come back in so she could fix but I insisted on a refund.she wouldn’t agree to that so, I just let it go! !she tried to place blame on my daughter for swimming in the pool with her nails on?? But we ALL know? Acrylics shouldn’t be breaking off the very next day, nor should they be effected by swimming in a pool for a bit!! Anyway? When we came in? She began yelling at me from across the room and embarrassed me in front of other customers!! Never again Mary! Even though I was very unhappy with the job she did? I had no intentions of giving her a bad review. But when she started yelling at me in the salon? That was the breaking point for me! Mary?? You need to work on your customer service skills, as well as your behavior around young children… just sayin… I thought for sure you had changed over the years. Oh well! 😞 so we just left there and my daughters nails are bleeding! She accused my daughter of moving while working on her nails!! NOT NICE MARY!! Jerking her arms around and drilling into her nail beds too?? WhT is wrong with you?? Don’t you have a daughter the same age as my daughter?? Do you jerk her handa all over and tell her to stay still while grinding on her nail beds???...
Read moreI asked Mary if she had a problem with me. Told her the last time I was there, she was not friendly. As I recall, she was in a bad mood and appeared to be bickering with her husband. No one could understand them though. And last week, she was rude. I was in front of her and speaking to her by name. She completely ignored me. Her response was "I'm busy." I said "well I was the only one in here when u ignored me." Again "I'm busy", "I'm busy" while raising her voice. So I raised mine, turned around, and walked out. There were abt three ladies in there by this time. All I thought was what if Mary was "too busy" to be friendly to all these ladies too?! Then, soon she would not be busy anymore. I have been going there for 6 or 7 years now. When her brother and sister and other family were there, you always felt welcome and were treated with gratitude and respect. Now you walk in to an awkward atmosphere where no one there is happy. Its sad! I am done with M N Nails. HEB needs to lease to a...
Read moreI went here because it was very convenient. First of all I made an appointment the day before. When I walked in everyone was friendly. They actually talked to you. I had to still sit and wait. I didn't get started on until 20 minutes until after my appointment time. The older guy who was doing my nails talked to me some but seemed more into the soccer game on the tv. He was quick but the quality was very poor. My nails were lumpy and the polish did not even cover the sides of my nails on some fingers. This was just a horrible job. As soon as he finished he told me to sit and wait to dry then he just took off to a chair closer to the tv and never looked back. I was very disappointed. I would not go back here ever again no matter how convenient. I could have done a better job myself. I ended up taking them off the next day myself because I was too embarrassed at the...
