Read moreWe are regular customers of this restaurant in Flour Bluff & it used to be good but recently it seems to go down consistently. The worst experience we have had was on Thursday morning when we ordered our usual order which was two megas breakfast plates, one with flour & one with corn tortillas & 2 crispy tacos. After an unusual waiting time the young lady handed our order out the window & as we drove away my grandson said, "Wait a minute, I think we only have one order." We returned & he took out order inside & after a time, during which the attendant was very irritable about his complaint, we got the second order. When we ate the food we discovered that both orders were with flour tortillas with one corn tortilla. But the worst part was that the Spanish rice had a strong taste of dish soap. Unfortunately we ate it anyway & both had a bad case of diarrhea that night. This is not the first problem we have had recently with this restaurant & consequently we"re seriously doubting we will ever go...
Read moreFirst of all, Iâm not the one to leave bad reviews often, if ever. I was so disappointed in this place. My husband, 3 kids, and I walked in around noon to eat lunch. The waiter walked up and said nothing, MAYBE he asked âdrinks?â under his breath, but I didnât hear. Fast forward to me getting my tacos Mexicanos plate. Didnât come with a jalepeno, beans were hard, meat was chewy and hard. I asked for the jalepeno that was supposed to come with my meal, and he came back with a hard one that wasnât cooked. The waiter gave us our ticket when he served the food. My toddlers food was served last, way after everyone else got theirs. My husbands coffee wasnât refilled till right before we left. My husband mentioned the beans being hard when he went up to pay and they shrugged it off like they didnât care. People hype this place up all the time and I got a HORRIBLE experience. Never...
