I have to say I’m really disappointed with my experience. Don’t get me wrong, the staff is very friendly and the locale is quite beautiful with a great atmosphere, but for some reason our food wasn’t seasoned at all. The Posole was made without salt or garlic, the meat for the Taco Plate was bland and compacted, the Nachos seemed to be microwaved with generic shredded yellow cheese on top, the guacamole had no lime juice, salt or garlic either. I was impressed with the bars’ selection of spirits and wine, but our Margaritas were soo sweet it was almost a deterrent.
I’m not sure if the kitchen needs to re-work the recipes or if they simply need to taste their food before it goes out, but I’m left hungry and wishing I went somewhere else. I hope the staff receives this and is able to reassess their...
Read moreThis place is Corrales in a nutshell. John, the proprietor and bartender runs a very cool old school bar and restaurant in this 200+ year old adobe. The building has been in his family for 80yrs. The beer/wine/liquor selection is amazing; The owner is a true connoisseur of spirits and beer. Here you will find whiskey’s and beer you have never even heard of from all around the world. The food is also excellent; try the cheese burger (hand made patty of fresh ground beef) with a side of green chile stew. Another great menu item is the stacked enchiladas with an egg on top. Nice cozy ambiance with stoked fires in the winter and a cool patio right on Corrales Rd. In the summer. Waitresses are all super friendly and always there when you...

As far as the food, I was disappointed. You could tell most of the food was prepackaged or from a can. Nothing was fresh. The "tortilla" chips were actually Tostitos Rounds. The salsa was from a jar, bland. The beans were from a can, and so was the posole. The carne adovado was good, but everything else was just bland and unflavorful. The lack of seasoning was hurtful!! The "guacamole" was just smashed avocado, nothing more. We left unsatisfied and ended up at Bosque Breweinf...
