Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Cortez

Sunday 10-27 my wife and I pulled in to Dairy Queen to get lunch the young girl with her eyebrow shaved in the middle of it seemed to be on drugs or something didn't take our order right we asked for "ONLY CHICKEN STRIPS" NOT THE WHOLE BASKET OR MEAL...which she said it only comes with the whole meal which we KNOW it doesn't ordered it before she closed the we paid anyway didn't want to argue with her so she closes the door rolls her eyes and you can CLEARLY SEE HER CUSSING US !!!!!!! Then another lady brings us out our food wears glasses and kinda bigger girl i asked her if she would just please let her know theirs NO REASON TO CUSS ANYONE NOONE CUSSED HER !!!! SHE GOES ON TO YELL AT ME AND TELL ME THAT " YOU NEED TO TAKE THAT UP WITH SETH " Pretty aggressively I asked "WHO IS SETH AND HOW CAN I TALK WITH HIM ? "" AND SHE WENT ON TELLING ME I HAD MY FOOD AND NEED TO LEAVE !!!! WOW JUST WOW !!! I left cause she wouldn't tell me who or how to talk with " Seth " !! We just wanted to get something to eat not feel like we're about to get " Jumped On and beat up and talked to in a totally hostile way " we even paid the EXTRA MONEY for a WRONG ORDER just to keep everything easy !!!! That just blows my mind the lack of PROFESSIONALISM and CUSTOMER SERVICE that this place has !!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL going thier you might end up in some kind of cussing match or crazy brawl !!! And to top it off they gave us wrong burger and BBQ strips instead of parmeasan !!!! Hopefully thier management will see this and maybe have a Serious talk...

Go anywhere else! There are other options nearby. This place isn't worth it, even if it were all free.

We've gone to DQs in over 20 states now and this one is By Far the Worst. We always order the same thing which makes comparison even easier. I ordered a simple chocolate ice cream and was handed a white cone with no chocolate flavor and a sour taste. It wasn't even vanilla - just gross. When we were handed the rest of our order, I explained the problem and was told, "that IS our chocolate" with no offer to fix anything. We both handed our ice creams to her and asked for them to be thrown away. Gross. All she did was glare at us with her hand on her hip. Ever hear of customer service? I guess not.

I was eager to wash away the sour taste and grabbed a chicken strip. Depending on where you go, DQ uses two different types of breading for these. One is barely edible and the other is Delicious! This was the bad kind - with about twice as much on it as usual. Ugh. The seasoning was off, too. I began to feel sick to my stomach and stopped eating.

We had stopped here to eat something before grocery shopping and honestly, being hungry in a grocery store was a far better choice than eating that garbage.

So they failed on food and on customer service. What's left? Well they found another place to fail. Even their receipt has typos on it - in the...

SLOW DRIVE THRU. Dairy Queen is notorious for long wait times. What's up with that? Does the company not care? "Everyone loves our ice cream and they have no choice.... They can wait; they have no choice!" We waited for over 45 mins! Cars behind us were leaving... You're losing business because of the speed of service. When we FINALLY got to the pickup window... The transaction took forever... Employee was doing all sorts of procedures just to run my card. Then she hands me 1 out of 4 items and says.... "I'd give you the rest of your order, but my manager told me to take my break...." Finish a customer's order then take your break. I observed the employees from the window and they showed no speed at all. They're working comfortably at a SLOW PACE! there had to have been 7-10 cars behind us. I've never expressed my frustration with a business until now. Kirkland, NM, Holbrook AZ, and in Flagstaff AZ are all the same!...
