Yummy Yummy — Restaurant in Corvallis

Ordered shrimp fried rice noodles and did not have any shrimp in it. Called to tell them there was a mistake (mistakes happen no problem!) to hopefully pick up the correct food and she continually argued with me instead of trying to fix the situation. After her being completely unprofessional and argumentative when I calmly explained there was a mistake I gave up and hung up the phone. Insanely rude, food was wrong and bland and cold, portions were much smaller than The Show. We will never order here again. Last thing I wanted to do on Christmas was get yelled at for 5 minutes but here we are.

Corvallis is really the strangest place when it comes to peoples tastes in food. I would rate this as moderately poor tasting. Food is pretty, and has nice spices in it, but has odd overtones. I don’t know if there are additives or preservatives in the staple foods in their supply chain. Perhaps they are pulling ingredients from the store shelves - which may be highly processed or not fresh? The meals here were a complete mismatch to my taste in food. I travel a bit and generally enjoy what I’m eating, experiencing food during travels to other parts of the world, and locally in Oregon. Got an order (roast pork rice bowl) to go. Said it would be 15 minutes, more like 30, but worth waiting for. Authentic? Probably, as much as I know, but LOTS of Asian folks waiting to sit down and eat. To me, that's a good sign.

The place smelled like good food. And I saw a lot of sizzling plates of exotic (to me) food brought out to the tables of people waiting.

I'd order something a little more adventurous next time, although my order was good. Especially the sauce.

Value? $9.99 for my meal. Decent amount of food. I'd say value.

Plus, a great selection of Asian food, dry, liquid, frozen, spices, hardware available in the grocery section.
