I came in today to order food after getting my youngest daughter ready for her last prom. As she graduates next week. It didn't hit me fully until i was in the restaurant placing my order. The beginning of a full blown panic attack. The server Jess and another lady I assume was her boss (I'm not sure) talked with me. We talked about their children, my children and them all growing up. The kindness and compassion these 2 lady's showed me was beyond any scope of their job criteria, BUT it was exactly what my soul needed at that moment. The food was OK. Service was lacking. They don't have a hostess, and the servers would walk right past those waiting to be seated while there were plenty of empty tables. Once seated, it took almost 15 minutes just to give our drink order. Asked for sugar since they only give each table 6 packets and never got it. Our server didn't come back once our luke warm food arrived. I waited so long for my bill that the rest of my party went to the grocery store part and the busser had cleared my table. Ordered turkey cranberry melt, got turkey onion and cheese? Friend ordered Ham loaf. It was odd looking and tasted like cardboard. Waitress was nice but not overly helpful. Had to ask for grilled cheese to replace nasty ham. No offer to reduce cost of that change. Sad because this used to be a great place. I asked for price adjustment and they did so.
