Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

This place definitely doesn't know how to prepare pizzas. In the past 2 years this place was lousy and I decided to give it another try, but on 01/19/22 I ordered 2 large 3 topping pizzas and the Hand Tossed one was dry, dry, dry and the 3 toppings were very sparingly added, and the other large 3 topping pizza Brooklyn style was stuck to the cardboard box (the entire center section was flat no crust) I had to literally scrape the pizza from the box and of course lucky me it was the one I chose. So I was very frustrated especially after working a 19.50 hr day. I tried my husband's pizza and it was dry, dry, dry no sauce. We were both highly perturbed and exceedingly pist off, so needless to say that I had to wait for the next day to complain because I would have gone off on the phone and not very nice. The person I spoke to said that she would replace them and to re-order them when I was ready for them. I did re-order them but not until 02/02/22 because of my hectic schedule. LOUSY, LOUSY, LOUSY PIZZAS! I again received a dry, dry, dry, hand tossed large pizza 3 topping pizza and even less toppings than the last one. The second pizza was edible but not enough of the 3 toppings ordered. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THIS DOMINO'S EVER. I WILL ALSO NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS...

They are inconsistent. Sometimes I get great service, fast delivery and accurate orders. Other times I have had missing items and rediculously slow service (one occasion the "tracker" told me my pizza was delivered, but it didn't actually arrive until at least 30 min later). I have to add that all the delivery drivers have been friendly enough (one was a bit slimy in the sense he reeked of cologne and I got the sense he had fantasies of the delivery boy and hot lady customer scenario--ummm no!). I've never called the store apart from one occasion and (to make a long story short) the guy on the phone was clueless and just blew me off. I'm giving 3 stars. They're ok. Friendly drivers but don't expect courteous phone staff. You should expect some orders done well and some not. Most deliveries in good time, with the occasional exceedingly late one. Love the thin and crispy pizza! I have found that no matter where I am, even if I am sitting in front of the place, the best deals are online! Not to mention the wait is not any longer, in fact, it's probably faster to order online! All directions and requests are followed and everything is ready when I get there or if I'm there I just wait about 15 minutes. They will also deliver for a small fee, no I don't know what it is! Delivery fees I've noticed are usually based on gas prices. This Dominos has always had good pizza, employees are friendly and curtious. They don't always know or have answers to my questions but they do try! Like I said you are better off ordering online. Plus if you order online you can collect points and earn free pizzas and more!
