Got acrylics done and went in for a fill, where she cut so much of my cuticles away, kept going deeper , and created hangnails on the sides of my nails, exposing skin underneath my nail. I have no idea what she was thinking, and was explaining my concerns while I was getting my nails done, but she would laugh it off, even though it was stinging really bad because of the cuts she made slicing into where the cuticles once were. One week later, I have 3 bad infections that lead to swelling, redness, pain, and puss, oh and fungal infection too. I went to the doctor and now am on 10 days of antibiotics that I have to take 4x a day, have to soak my hands in bleach and water twice a day and apply prescription cream twice a day. Overall Iāve spent $150 so far to treat what this woman did. Also - trying to get my money back was a huge ordeal. I eventually received it but the woman who did my nails literally denied doing my nails. They were trying to turn it around on me. The only nice person in the situation who understood the concept of returning money to me was Mimi. The manager gave me an extremely hard time and I had to come back a second time for some reason to point out the girl who did my nails and the manager was not even there when we had a set time planned. She wanted to give me a āgel manicure ā instead of a refund. Are you kidding me I have 3 separate infections on my fingers and you want to manicure me ?! šš . Donāt go here. Iām not sure if that woman was not trained but she had no clue what she was doing and straight lied to my face to protect herself. Terrible customer service if you ask me and now infections and...
Ā Ā Ā Read more3 stars is being generous. Be careful to not confuse this shop with the one in the Tokyo Market center. Their NEW name is suspiciously similar. No longer Bella.
I have been a customer of Bella for years and have always had great service. I came here the other day to find a tremendous price increase for all services.
Today, I could have paid $40 for a gel pedicure with minimal service, no massage, just removal and paint. I had a bit of sticker shock but went for the next level up for $50. so I could get a much needed foot massage.
This service included a 60-second salt srub, a 7-minute horrible massage, and a very painful callus/bone scub. All happened in about 10 minutes. The rest of my 30 minutes in the dilapidated spa chair was the paint, trim, and file. The uploaded picture shows where the technician scubed all over my foot, sides tops and bottoms, whether I had no calluses, so I now have a scab on the side of my foot. I asked her not to scub on my bones, but she didn't understand, so she kept scrubbing. I so wish these expensive techs understood, the heels and toe pads need scrubbing, never scub the boney part of the feet.
Also, my polish isn't even shiny. $72, in a salon that wasn't busy, and I was out the door in 30 minutes. Oh, don't forget to add the $12 tip. Even though the tech was friendly, I am not coming back. The other shop I go to was slammed when I walked in, so I came to Bella. This very pricy new shop under the name of The Nail Lab and Spa is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, a terrible experience and will not be returning for future services. The nail techs were pleasant when we arrived, but did not follow through with the nails that were shown to him. He kept making excuses as to why the nails did not come out as promised and blamed me for the āchangeā that I wanted. Upon asking if him if this job is beyond his expertise, he claimed he could recreate them just as shown in a picture from Pinterest. Trial #2 was just as poorly conducted as the first attempt, so I settled for solid acrylic powder (instead of ombrĆ© acrylic powder) and gel polish on top. He ādidnāt have timeā to soak my nails off, so kept the ombrĆ© acrylic powder and painted over it. During this third attempt, he was extremely agitated and cut the skin around my nail bed several times. No attempt, to take my nails all the way off was made. He wanted to make a profit over a poorly conducted job, instead of...
