McDonald's — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

All and all, this is a pretty solid McDonald's where the positives greatly outweigh any complaints I may have. I come here with some pretty complicated orders during either breakfast or lunch/dinner because McD's has options to customize most everything they offer on their menu. Not only do they get it right, but they also make it tasty. I never have to re-explain what I'm ordering and it's always done with care - This has led to me getting some awesomely customized breakfast platters and sandwiches for when a standard Big Mac isn't enough. Further, the staff's always friendly and always seem intrigued by the challenge as opposed to burdened by it (this is also because when I do have such an order, I'll go into the dining room as opposed to the drive-thru; for that I'll stick to the standard McD's fare.)

My only complaints are that I wish it were open 24 Hours and that the speed of service could be a bit more prompt for non-custom orders. But honestly, those are very, very slight complaints that shouldn't overshadow the fantastic work that this...

RUINING THEIR EMPLOYEES HEARING! The employees who work the drive thru are very nice, but even and even with multiple complaints to management about the loud fan on at the drive thru, management doesn't care. They don't care that they are running employees hearing (class action suit a real possibility & OSHA to be notified), but they are also assaulting the hearing of customers. I can't hear a thing the employee is saying when the fan is on, and the employees have been made afraid to turn it off. It is extremely loud and should be moved to so it isn't above the employee. Plus, it is causing sinus issues with some employees because it is right above blowing down. Employees are afraid of losing their jobs. The food is typically good, though many times the eggs in the burrito are cold. Pretty awful MCD’s. Used to be quicker to serve food but seems much muc slower now after the remodel. The drive thru is very narrow and twisty, last 2 times there I saw cars scrape. The drive thru also forgot to include my Big Mac. I took the time to call and give them feedback. I got a lot of attitude from the "manager". I was told that he "would do me a favor" and give me the sandwich if I came back. I politely explained that it shouldn't be a favor to get what I paid for. They are either unable or unwilling to give a refund for their mistake. Why is it when you go to fast food joints, they never give you extra, they only short you haha?
