In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

I don't know if it's just this In and Out Burger location because it's local so it's the only one I really go to more often than not. However I had yet to get a meal that included hot french fries. Every time I leave right after I leave the drive-thru window if I go to stick my hand in my French fries they're not even warm and by the time I get home or wherever I'm going to go eat they're cold. So I don't know what's up with these guys and another thing that I noticed is that their burgers taste far too salty. I don't know if it's the cheese that they're using because American Cheese Slices tend to be overwhelmingly packed with MSG or tons of sodium at any rate I have decided not to eat their burgers anymore or anything else for that matter. They are a great company but this location needs work and if the other locations use the same products I'm glad I'm not going there either. They need to work on their french fries I don't know what the problem is but when you get a complete meal and part of it is cold and you have to eat it just because you're so hungry you eat it anyways that's not right. It's like I feel like they've just taken money from me that they didn't deserve so I'm going to suggest you find another burger place other than this location Happy Trails looking for the best burger and hot french fries that are really cooked good is still on my list of to do and find...

Sean was working last night when I went by around midnight and he had the most amazing personality right from the very beginning when he responded to me on the drive thru intercom. I immediately got a smile on my face 🤩 and he was energetic, polite, upbeat, positive, and knowledgeable in regards to everything pertaining 2 the restaurant and all aspects it was truly a pleasure to meet him and I was excited to see somebody who obviously enjoyed their jobs so much I do quite a few reviews on places I go because I think it's important for other people when they're figuring out where they like to go to get honest opinion and review that's what I would want and this is a no-brainer to write absolutely no brainer the food was awesome and he was the manager as it turned out I will definitely be calling in and out to let them know how well run that location is, I would say pretty much all of their locations are very well ran but that was like clockwork he had it like a well-oiled machine considering it was almost 1 in the morning there wasn't a thing out of place consistency with obvious to me that's the sort of things that sticks in your head and you want to go back because you know without a doubt you're going to have a great meal no question thanks again...

I graded atmosphere down because as I sat in my car while waiting in the car line-up, a homeless guy walked up to my window & aggressively reached into my car targeting the money I held in my hand. Blood was dripping off his forehead as if somebody had just beat him off with thier shoe or something. He's dripping blood into my car as he leans into the car without saying anything & immediately grabs the bills in my hand. I snatch the bills back & reflexively pushed the button for the electric window to roll up, but he grabs my window, fights the motor & tries to break the glass! He never said a word but as I later realize after asking him to please stop, he doesn't speak or understand. Two things: (1) I see fresh blood dripping into my car from an aggressive, unkempt stranger, I automatically think blood borne pathogens such as Hepatitis, HIV, etc. so I wanted him to get out of my car. (2) I live close-by and just grabbed enough cash for my order, so I had no extra cash or I would have given him money or bought him a meal. This guy was actually a little overweight so definitely not starving, but the employees saw me struggle and nobody said anything or came over to help. Boo on In-N-Out for making your customers...
