Omg! So, my hubby and I are obsessed with garlic edamame! Since our local fave go-to place closed, we’ve been searching for a new staple. SkyBay Sushi is definitely it! Not being one for spicy food, garlic edamame and spicy garlic edamame are two VERY different dishes for me. Not everywhere has a separate spicy garlic edamame dish, meaning that their regular garlic edamame might be a little bit on the spicy side. At SkyBay Sushi BOTH the garlic edamame AND the spicy garlic edamame are killer. So my husband orders the spicy while I stick to the traditional garlic version; this way our hands don’t keep bumping into each other as we are scarfing them down. But don’t stop at the edamame. The sushi is also incredible. The rolls are beautifully presented and taste as good as they look. Our favorite is the Shrimp Crunchy Roll, I like my Crunchy Rolls with a bit of cucumber, which the staff at SkyBay are happy to add. Whether you choose to dine in or takeout, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, even if you have extra requests. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable and smells mouthwatering from the moment you walk in. Stop in, say hi, take out, or dine in, but DON’T skip this hidden gem. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this sushi restaurant with a few friends of mine, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.
