DO NOT GO TO FAITH IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING YOUR CLOTHES FULLY RUINED/BLEACHED! I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at lotus salon. During my appointment, bleach was spilled all on my jacket; front & back—leaving so much damage. It’s unacceptable the complete lack of responsibility Faith had afterward. I brought the issue to the Faith’s attention immediately & politely, expecting at least a reimbursement and a willingness to make it right. Instead, she told me that I should’ve known I could’ve gotten my clothes bleached (even though I told her this is my first time getting my hair done), & said she had a “policy” where she can’t reimburse for personal items getting ruined even though I had no idea of this policy, nor did she ever state it to me or make me sign anything. She never covered my clothing correctly (only with a thin, short sleeved cape) and since I’ve never had my hair treated before, I didn’t know this wasn’t right. She never disclosed that this was a possibility. With that, there was zero offer to reimburse me for the ruined clothes.

This level of carelessness and unprofessionalism is shocking. If you're going to work with chemicals around clients, the bare minimum is protecting their belongings with correct garments and owning up when you do something wrong. I guarantee no one goes into a hair salon planning on getting their clothes ruined. I’m now left with permanently stained clothing that I can’t get back and a really bad taste in my mouth. Faith is seriously a hair whisper!! I’ve been really skeptical of hair dressers because I’ve had very bad experiences in the past. I was in desperate need for hair maintenance. So I had to give my girl Faith a chance and she truly came thru!! Not only did she understand what I wanted but she explained how & what she would do to get the hair. Faith is so loving and easy going she makes the appointment feel like it’s a coffee date instead. She explains things for non hair people like myself very easily to where I can understand her LOL!! She asks what YOU want and does what YOU want within reason of course. She truly is a rare gem and I tell everyone who touch this mane of mine bc she deserves all the compliments!!! Lotus salon is super great too! It has good vibes and the simplicity of decor is refreshing. Everyone there is really nice and they make yummy refreshments! It’s a great spot to get pampered!
