NEVER GO HERE. I ordered for take out as a treat for my daughters. They love chicken satay and have had it many times from many locations. We opened our food to find way overcooked sticky clumpy rice. Clearly not old just way overcooked. The chicken satay appears to be steamed not grilled as it should be and is chewey with a bad aftertaste. My third item was pumpkin curry. It too lacked flavor. Sadly I called and let them know our food was not good to be told I can come in another day and get "free rice". The woman said she had the chicken satay for lunch so "it's fine". FYI it's 7:30 pm. Maybe they made it at lunch and are serving it this evening??? that is why it is chewey and has a bad after taste. She offered the reason both my daughters and myself did not like it is because maybe it's a different flavor then what we are used to. So disappointed. I will never order here again. I would've given them a second chance but after being offered free rice when I am not happy is not good customer service! Waist of money and to boot I have to cook my kids a new dinner...
Read moreYou go here if you want freshness and flavorssss. First time here, went well with food, friendly laid back kind of service. Love the explosive flavors and the spiciness. Had the calamari salad. Boy! was that lovely and sour and salty and spiiicy! It hurt so wicked good. The other was Panang. Another flavorful curry, highly recommended. The ambience was clean and the walls decorated with cool art works, and each table had cute little cactus. However, the dark curtains were not as cheerful. Friendly Suggestions: rice (brown or white or sticky) is not supposed to be mushy texture, so tone down the water content and make it al dente, then you own me. Can we have more of other veggies in curries, aside from bell peppers and/or carrots? Actually, that goes with any dishes in the Thai menus everywhere, please and thank you. Many Thai restaurants, in my experience, rely too much on those two veggies. Just saying. In any rate, "we'll be back" and try something else. Keep up the...
Read moreThis is quite possibly the best Thai restaurant that I have ever been to. I'm not saying that lightly, either. This was where I ate at regularly until 10 years ago when I had to move out of state. It was also the first place I ate at upon moving back to the area. The food is just that good! The pad thai is so good that Taylor Swift is reportedly making her next album dedicated to the restaurant. The freshly made lemonade is enough to bring the most stoic of lumberjacks into a fit of joyful tears. Children create songs (complete with dance moves, obviously) about the delicious coconut ice cream served at the end of their meals. The staff is friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are large.
Lynn's Thai restaurant is a place of magic and wonder. I will definitely be...
