This review is long overdue because Slow Co Pizza is absolutely amazing! I’ve had three of their artisan sourdough pizzas so far: the Finnster (pepperoni), Hogwarts Express, and Pretty Fly for a Fungi. Every single one was fantastic! The crust is a game-changer—I’m usually not a crust person, but I not only ate it, I loved it. The pizzas are perfectly cooked and not greasy at all, which really lets the fresh, high-quality ingredients shine. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a spacious indoor area and a lovely outdoor patio. It’s family-friendly, and the staff is so friendly and attentive. The owners Dany and Dane are wonderful people who have a true passion for pizza and breadmaking—they’re incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share their craft. Also, don’t skip the soft serve! It’s super creamy and has just the right amount of sweetness, making it the perfect way to end your meal. They also serve a great selection of local beers and wines, which pair perfectly with their pizzas. Whether you’re out with family or friends, Slow Co Pizza is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I'm glad to see a new restaurant in this building, I didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't say how the service or atmosphere was but the pizza was fire!!!! Their dough is so delicious! I had the Hogwarts Express, Pretty Fly For A Fungi and the Finnster but added mushrooms. They all were delicious but my favorite was the Pretty Fly. The mushrooms they use are awesome and have a bite, not all soft and mushy. I can't wait to get back and try some more. You have to check this place out if your in Cotati!

Excellent, creative menu. The pizza crust is delicious and the perfect chewy consistency. As someone who does not love sourdough, it does not have a strong sourdough flavor. It just tasted rich and delicious. The salads, farmers cheese, and ice cream with miso caramel were all memorable.

A Local Gem for True Pizza Lovers

Slow Co Pizza in Cotati delivers exactly what you'd hope for in a neighborhood pizza spot — relaxed vibes, thoughtful ingredients, and a setting that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you’re grabbing a seat indoors or enjoying the fresh air outside, the atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious.

As a self-proclaimed pizza pundit (yes, it’s a thing!), I pay close attention to every detail — from crust texture to topping balance — and Slow Co Pizza nails it. Their use of locally sourced ingredients, from farm-fresh salad greens to creatively curated toppings, really sets them apart. It’s not just food; it’s a reflection of the community.

This spot is one of the reasons I’ve been inspired to help launch a growing community of fellow pizza fans through pizzalover.com — a place to celebrate great pies like this one. Stay tuned.

Whether you're local or just passing through, Slow Co Pizza is the kind of place that reminds you why pizza is more than just food — it's a...

I placed an order for pick up, and it was ready in 15 minutes. Here are a few thing that I observed.

One size, the pizzas are about the size of a small at other establishments.

They use very fresh ingredients.

There was no grease all over the bottom of the pizza box at the end of the meal.

We ordered the Pretty Fly for a Fungi. This is probably the most flavorful pizza I have ever had. The pesto was perfect, there was a bright citrus note on the arugula, and it had just the right amount of toppings.

The Hogwarts Express was pretty good too. This pizza would be really delicious if a spicy sausage was available.

The dough is very flavorful and the sauce complemented the pizza.

I am really excited for sunshine to enjoy the...
