Normally I would say that this restaurant chain has good, patient staff. The menu has a brood selection of choices, all with multiple options; beef, pork, chicken excetra. Customizing each and every order. Meaning ever order is assembled or cooked to order. Nothing is sitting under a heating lamp waiting to be purchased by the next possible customer. I would recommend any of the locations but this one on Broadway in council bluffs Iowa.i had to return to this branch due to error made on order. They fixed order but made me pay twice for chips and salsa (peacho) The drive through employee had given me only chips with my daughters requested #5 meal selection. If paying twice for chips and salsa and driving across town to rectify the problem wasn't enough. There counter has holes that are exposed to the environment. It Obviously has been repurposed. Which isn't the point of the story. The point is that it's laminated and chipping. I ended up cutting my opposite ring finger was sliced open like a tomato and a aluminum can. Blood was dripping heavily on the counter top and i had to basically beg for a bandaid. I had to work twice as hard to get him to wipe the surface clean. I will travel to another location if im wanting to eat a menu item they provide. (Nearest location is 12-15...
Read moreI ordered delivery so it may be better in person, but we ordered two orders of cheese enchiladas, two quesadillas, and fries to share. The fries were cold, soggy, and unsalted and they tasted like old McDonald fries. The enchiladas were not properly packaged and spilled all over the bags. We have carpet right when you walk in and go up stairs and red enchilada sauce spilled all over my carpet and my clothes dripping from the bag. The cheese inside the enchiladas was not melted at all, they were stone cold and did not have the guacamole that was supposed to be on the side for all of the items ordered. The quesadillas were also cold and not well melted. I recognize a lot of these issues are because of delivery but coming from the west coast, I know good Mexican food and this is not it. The sauce was not well flavored, very little seasoning on anything. You are better off getting Taco Bell than ever coming here. I would never...
Read moreFirst off I must say I'm sad juventinos isn't open on Sundays (or 24 hours except on weekends) anymore. Hubby works night shifts and we often went Sunday nights after he slept. But we went on a Tuesday instead. As usual we had a fantastic meal. I ordered the carnitas plate and hubby went with machaca. Both plates were plentiful and well seasoned. The carnitas had nice crispy bits that were oh so good. Their salsas are excellent and I love to eat their pickled carrots. Spicy but not too spicy. They are addictive. I highly recommend. I also love the horchata, and think I might try a different flavor next time. They have a huge menu and the only thing I've tried that I don't care for is their shredded chicken. The pollo asado is good though. Give it a try. We will be back, in spite of the...
