This is, without a doubt, the worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. If you don't want to read a book of a review, just go literally anywhere else to avoid disappointment.
We sat down and within 30 seconds the waitress was pushing for our choice on an appetizer, we hadn't even had a chance to open the menus. She did take our drink order. After 10 minutes, one of our two drinks is brought to the table by someone other than our waitress. She asked me if I had gotten my beer, I told her no. She said she's be right back. A few minutes later she came back with a beer dyed a disgusting hue of green. I informed her I did not want a green beer, she tried to convince me to take it anyway, I declined. 15 minutes after ordering my beer it was finally brought to me. The waitress had came back and taken our order in the meantime and made no mention of my missing drink.
The fried pickles came out before my side salad. They were extremely salty to the point of being inedible. The entrees came out and while my prime rib was cooked to the correct temp, it was very unevenly cut, almost as if they used a chainsaw to do so. At this point I pointed out that I still hadn't gotten my salad. The waitress blamed the kitchen and made no attemlt at apologizing. While the kitchen was undoubtedly a mess, it is the server's responsibility to make sure I get my food. She then brought me a very unappetizing looking caesar salad that she claimed to have made herself. While eating the salad I got a mouthful of something gelatinous, spit it out, and immediately lost my appetite. I waited for our server to reappear for quite some time, she did not, so I angrily paid on the tabletop kiosk device. My wife wanted to keep her leftovers, so I had to go get a box myself since the waitress was still MIA. They didn't even have lids for their au jus cups. It wasn't until we were standing up to leave that our waitress came back and asked if we needed boxes, so inattentive that she couldn't see the box in my wife's hand.
This place has terrible service and food. You'd be better off eating a can of dog food. Texas Roadhouse should be ashamed to allow this location to...
Read moreMy family and I go to Texas Road multiple times a year, The Council Bluffs location in the Omaha metro area is the worst of the 3 location. 4 out of the last 5 times we have went there have been bad experiences, but this review is based on my experience on December 26 around 700 pm, we had a party of 12. My first problem is the greeter decided that our group was going to sit where another large group was finishing up, she under estimated how long they were going to be there, so we had to wait 25 to 30 minutes to be seated. They had plenty of other tables they could have pushed together for our group but that not what they chose to do. Then there was the mistake of calling our group up just for them to realize that the tables wasn't clean and had us sit back down and wait longer. The person that took us back to our table did not bring rolls with us as he set us down (This seams to happen almost every time at the Council Bluffs location) the other location in Omaha alway bring the rolls to the table as they seat you. Having been through this more than once at this location i just grabbed the rolls myself and carried them to the table. Once we seated I noticed we had no silverware the table. The waitress to care of that. The food took a while to come out, but I can let that go because we had a large group. The person that brought the salads out did not verify that every got there salad so one of my daughter and I got to watch everyone else at the table eat there salad, we finally got our when the meal came out. 2 of the 12 steaks were overdone but the manager on duty replaced those, my steak was dry but I ate it. As I did state before I talk to the manager about this and I hope he able to fix the problem with the support staff at this location but but I think it's bigger than one person. Sorry for the long reviews but to some it up if you want good service and love Texas Roadhouse then save yourself the grief and go to one of the other 2 location in...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I have EVER had at any restaurant in my life! Ordered the 6oz filet MEDIUM, took forever and it came out BLOODY and COLD in the center. Server took it back, waited forever again, then my boyfriend mentioned that the manager had come to the table behind us with a steak on a plate that looked like mine and he tried to get his attention and even said “I think that’s our steak over here”. By the time I looked back the lady had already cut into it (which didn’t make any sense anyways because their table had just been seated and they were just given their salads). He completely ignored us and we had to flag down the server again, to which she then went behind us and grabbed the other lady’s steak and took it back to the kitchen. She then came back again and said she couldn’t give it to me because the other person had touched it (understandable) but I asked why she didn’t just let her keep that steak if that’s what she ordered (ironically she had ordered the exact same thing, go figure) to which she replied “that steak was meant for your ticket and not hers so neither of you can have it” which didn’t make any sense at all. By this point we had been there an hour and I just wanted to leave but she said she could get one cooked to go for us. I reluctantly agreed and we waited, yet again, and by the time the new one came back in a box it was a tiny, burnt/well done piece of crap that I don’t even want. They did take it off the bill but then she also tried to charge us for 2 drinks when I only had one water, and didn’t give us a pen when bringing the receipt and basically ignored us afterwards and I had to get another servers attention (she was sweet), for a pen. The manager never even came back over to apologize after his mess up. If you want a good meal with decent service, avoid this particular location at all costs, the one on...
