Clancy's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Covina

Been going 5 years used to love it until they got a new bartender at night now its horrible service and stop going but finally decided to go after not going for a year and i happen to forget my ID and only had my military with me which before their last bartender used to accept and knew me after since i went their many times but this new one said " Sorry but that's not a real ID" when i try to question this further her tone when straight to being rude saying the ID i had is not a ID and proves nothing which got me piss off which i can understand if they refuse to accept that to buy bear but to say it in a tone that they don't care for military ID means nothing and then to give me a example saying if the cops came and they ask for ID that it wont work which i took as a threat. Debbie is seriously the worst. She’ll go out of her way to make you feel unwelcomed. She’s been here for years and never changes. The bar is always dead these days and I’m pretty sure it’s because she’s chasing off any business. She’ll only treat you nice if you’re a daily regular. I only choose clancys when I’m in town because it’s in my home town but maybe it’s time to cut ties. Also on her shift I notice it’s always so stuffy in there and bar lights weren’t on towards the back. They close at 1am but she was already warning us for last call at 12 lol. Good dive bar. Mellow atmosphere. Owner is cool guy and friendly host when he's there in the afternoons. Good prices on drinks. Been coming here for years. My advice to anyone wanting to come check it out is to avoid Friday and Saturday nights. That's when Debbie (downer) the bartender works.
