The exterior of the restaurant seemed sketchy and dirty. On the other hand, the dining area was very nice. The bathrooms however were very unsanitary. The ceiling near the bathroom had gross stains. Our waitress was very nice but she did forget a couple people’s drinks. Someone at my table had ordered a Sierra Mist and said it tasted like blood. The water was fine but some people said it also tasted like blood. I had ordered the chicken lo mein combo platter. It came with chicken lo mein, an egg roll, and rice. The egg roll was surprisingly decent but the chicken lo mein had absolutely no flavor but salt and the rice was extremely dry. Also, the lo mein had no sauce remaining so it was dry as well. The combo platter was approximately $10. I do not think the quality was worth the price. I was also skeptical of the restaurant because within our time there, there was only 2 other full tables. So, overall I would give the food 2/5 stars, service 4/5, and cleanliness 3/5. So, if you’re looking for great quality with amazing flavor, this is unfortunately...
Read moreThe owners and staff at Fuda have been really careful through the pandemic, which I really appreciate. I have always felt safe getting food there. Like any Asian restaurant in NEPA, there are some dishes that are better than others, and you have to try them to find out. I really enjoy most of Fuda's food, and some of my favorites are the Japanese Teriyaki Salmon, Homestyle Bean Curd, their sushi, and Gyoza. My husband loves the Chicken and Broccoli combo platter and Singapore rice noodles. I appreciate that they offer Pad Thai, but sometimes it's better than other times, and I wish it was more consistent. I think the Lo Mein is just OK, and the egg rolls are fine, nothing special. Fried rice that accompanies other dishes is usually really good. All in all, I really like the range of their menu, and will keep trying new dishes, and getting the standards that I know I like, as well. Also appreciate their late hours, and they are open 7 days/week. ...
Read moreSO BAD!!! FOOD POISONING!! We have been going here for years. Some times have been good times, some bad. This recent experience was so bad , we will never ever come back. The food was old, the crab was rancid, expired, FOOD Poisoning, smells like they tried to cover it washing with vinegar. One bite and immediately knew it. Spit it out, smelled it not believe it. The shrimp in the shrimp tempura was also not fresh!!! Needless to say I ended up sick for days!!! On to the smaller mistakes. Several orders of sushi were placed and they placed all three orders of different sushi rolls together in a small container, completely smashing them to the point you could not tell what they were, did not resemble a roll, or the type of roll was unrecognizable. When saying something to the staff, they could care less, saying need to let them know if you want it in a different container. Not evening mentioning the fact you could not even tell...
