Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Covington

Worst service and food I have ever had at fast food place. Went to Latonia location instead of the Florence location I have previously liked. Knew I should have been suspicious when my husband read the sign they posted saying "Check your order before leaving as may have to return food on order to get refund'. Sounds like this is an ongoing issue at this location. The young girl taking our order had it wrong 3 times before she got it right. Neither my husband's or my order were correct. I ordered 3 pc with 2 sides (mashed potatoes w/gravy and cole slaw). First off 2 out of 3 were the smallest bony pcs (leg, wing) thigh was good. 2 sides I received Cole slaw and Mac & cheese. My husband's chicken was good (breast, thigh and wing). He ordered baked beans and potato wedges. He got baked beans and cole slaw. Biscuits were also burnt. We were already out of long drive thru line and inside was closed before we discovered how bad these were. Will not be going back to this location and may go back to KFC. 😠. Food was good hot and edible but customer service sucked. Bought a soda for my friend I was waiting on to meet me there was told that I had to buy something else or I would have to leave. Then after my friend arrived and we were eating we were being rushed out of there by several different employees well before closing time! Absolutely rude woman felt like she practically pushed us out the door! Me and my friend both agreed we will never eat there again at that location!!! We were scanning receipts for cash back while we were eating and the woman that practically pushed us out the door pretty much accused us of being panhandlers ( asking people for money) which was ridiculous because we never once even talk to another customer the whole entire time we were there we sat in the corner by ourselves away from everyone the only people we talked to was to order our food and get our drinks! She treated us like we were lower than dirt and I do not appreciate being treated like that and do not like being accused of doing something I'm not doing I want to talk to corporate ASAP they need...

I' am an 80 year old disabled veteran[service connected] and requested a military discount as I have in other Lee's establishments and given same. Sunday after church I stopped at the Winston Ave, Latonia shop as I frequently do, I normally go inside and ask for the military discount and apparently they give a senior discount and that's fine. On this visit the "young" manager she refused and stated we only give "POLICE" discount. I'm a supporter of our police and even years ago graduated from our police academy. Apparently she does not think much of our vets and the freedoms she has. Ironically they sit right across form our American Legion post 203which I am a member and memorial day coming up on the 31st. Its not the discount, rather it is the way I was treated. I will only support an organization that supports and honors my fellow veterans and will request all my fellow veterans to do the same.
