Extra Space Storage — Local services in Covington

UPDATE: 6/19/2024 I stand by everything in my previous review shown below. This facility is by far exceeding excellence. I have had my unit for a little over a year now, the staff is amazing every one of them. They make sure to inform you of any and all updates concerning your unit or their policies. The first 6 months the price of my unit was the lowest within a 20 miles radius. On the seventh month my rate doubled in price and since then it has increased several times. I understand increasing the price once maybe even twice in a one year period but my original price compared to my current price is a far stretch between the two. And this is nothing that the staff at my specific facility has any control over, they are just following procedures passed down from higher management. I’m considering moving my storage to another company simply due to the continuing increase in my unit price.

The store manager, Rhea McAfee, of the Latonia location, is by far the most kind, understanding and helpful person I've ever done business with. In comparison to the previous store manager, Rhea is an angel to say the least and honestly doesn't even compare to him. Rhea is always willing to go above and beyond to provide a friendly and pleasant experience. Always a pleasure to talk to over the phone. The previous manager, Brett, was disgustingly rude and disrespectful to an elderly Korean War Vet, who came into the store to ask for help regarding his billing. I have never in my life been so offended and taken back by his disrespecr and lack of compassion. This is why I was so excited to meet Rhea and to learn that he was no longer with the company and i no longer had to deal with him.. it was to the point where I almost despised coming here to talk with him just because I knew what type of experience it was going to be. Update: 4/24 , Another great followup with Becky and Michael today! They really went out of their way to help us out, they made a panic situation of a lost keychain and not being able to get into our unit seem like a walk in the park. Took all the stress and worry away and saved the day! They have been and continue to be stars that really care about their customers! We can’t recommend them enough! ———
