Just wanted to give a shout out to A Better Me Juicery. Me and my 3 boys (7 month old not pictured) were having ourselves a chaotic morning by 9 am. We were waiting for the pharmacy to open when my 3 year old needed the potty, like immediately.
We ran around the corner and stumbled into a better me, which I have been wanting to try for a long time. I am a stay at home mom who is almost never without my kids in tow so I haven’t been brave enough to navigate downtown with all 3 boys alone just yet. However I am soooo glad I was forced into the situation because it brought us here.
My 2 year old had a hulk juice, my 3 year old wanted a “iron man” juice so the owner was kind enough to make him a superhero juice and add in some beets to make it red. They were stoked and very anxious to tell their cousins all about our superhero juice trip with the fun fruit pillows later in the day.
The owner was so friendly and down to earth. She related to the mom struggle and made me feel so welcomed when I was rather cranky. We are so lucky to have businesses like this right in the heart of town and my kids & I are excited to head back there in the...
Read moreA Better Me is an amazing new juicery in downtown Cranford! It's a must go! It's super bright, colorful, inviting and gorgeously decorated. The owner was so welcoming and nice to talk to. They make a bunch of made-to-order juices and smoothies and a few other snacks available and the whole menu looks delicious! I got the "Pure Greens" smoothie and WOW was I impressed! It was so flavorful and perfectly balanced, which not all green smoothies are. I loved that it was all green vegetables and lemon with no fruit--that's hard to find around here and I'm a greens lover so this was perfect for me. I loved it! I'll definitely be getting another one next time in the bigger size it was that good. This place is an incredible addition to the downtown that I'm so happy to have nearby! Can't wait...
Read moreThe woman in there was coughing into her hands, didn’t wash them. Proceeded to grab all of the fruits and vegetables with bare hands to start making food, and didn’t wash the fruit that came straight out of the container. I asked her to start over after washing her hands and asked her to put the clearly visiible plastic gloves on and she said they don’t have gloves then when I pointed them out she said she was allergic to latex, but those were plastic. Then she started digging her hand into juicing machine. With covid on the rise, chances like that should not be taken. And if that’s what they’re doing right in front of you I can’t imagine what the cleanliness levels are behind closed doors. I still paid for my order because I had to pay first but definitely did not consume any...
