This place blew me away. I hunted for the best gf/vegan bakery and I finally found it. You are greeted by amazing staff that can answer any question but if they can’t, there is a binder of each item and it’s ingredients, so you are reassured. I have severe allergies and even when a bakery says that they can accommodate me, I get anxious, praying they have a dedicated kitchen and have protocols in place.
But that’s enough of that. Let’s move on to the product. I’ve tried so far, since I came twice in 3 days, the brookie, the brownie, Italian cookie bar, chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake and the lemon blueberry crumb cake. They were all a 10/10 but I loved the cheesecake the most because it’s the best cheesecake I’ve gotten from a vegan place that tastes better than regular cheesecake. The crumb cake was probably my favorite even though it’s such a basic thing, the flavors were unreal. I will continue to come and eat my way through the menu. So happy I found my...
Read moreWe make a special trip out here a few times a year. It's really incredible that they have so many vegan gluten free options. Some of the desserts are SO good they deserve 5 stars (I'm looking at you, yodels). Some are very disappointing. I had an old, dry cruller, and other items which just tasted very sweet without any other flavors. I was very underwhelmed by the food options, especially for the price (I didn't enjoy the rice ball personally). And unfortunately the food is pre made and refrigerated. The prices are also high...BUT I am going to continue to come and support this place and keep trying new things - it's hit or miss but when its a hit it's 100000% worth it. Maybe it's a matter of finding favorite desserts here and sticking with those. I appreciate this business very much for what they offer (and the amazing variety). Overall I do recommend this place...
Read moreThis is a nice vegan spot with lots of gluten free options. The cupcakes, cakes, and brownies are very good. The creme brûlée cupcakes and peanut butter brownies are sure to impress. There are some big hits but also some misses in my opinion. The bagels and donuts are not great. The bagels are flatter and more rubbery than other vegan bagels I’ve had and staff does not have the means to cut or toast them—not all bakeries that sell bagels toast or cut them, but just be prepared if you’re going for a bagel run. I also had a Boston cream donut that was thick and bready. If you’re picking up treats for guests, you can please them with items aside from the bagels and donuts. I usually finish whatever I buy here, but I could not do so with the bagel or donut. Four stars instead of three for food due to the sheer amount of gluten...
