WOW! This is a gem of a location. My wife and I went here on a Saturday night for a late dinner. I am thankful that it was open! We were seated very quickly and received excellent service. We ordered many different things, all of which were delicious.
The fried calamari was good, I do wish the portion size was a bit larger but that's just because I wanted to keep eating more of it. We also got the prosciutto and burrata appetizer with red peppers and that was presented beautifully and tasted even better, which is saying a lot. The creaminess of the burrata with the saltiness of the prosciutto was absolutely a divine pairing.
My wife got the fettucine alfredo, which was good. It was nice and creamy.
But what topped it all off was the pizza. W.O.W. This pizza was so good, we got the pesto pizza with peppadews and carmelized onions. It was a beautiful combination of quality ingredients that made a symphony of tastes happen on your palate. But, what really set this above and beyond was the crust of the pizza. It was so nicely charred, crispy, and full of flavor.
I will definitely be coming back again for some...
Read morePlease don’t order the Hawaiian pizza. It was our first visit so I can’t leave a solid review on the rest of the food but I will say that the Hawaiian pizza was a pile of minced ham reminiscent of vomit on dough. My husband was actually sick in the bathroom after a bite. I did see other pizzas being brought to different tables and they looked delicious. I am a bit disturbed by our experience I felt the need to share considering I was told people very much enjoy this raw mince on dough. I even requested it to be cooked longer which made no difference. I will say the appetizers were good so this is not a reflection on the entirety of this establishment. Just please do not order Hawaiian pizza until they get it right. Wings and apps weren’t bad at all and I support any local businesses the best I can but this was just an experience I can’t forget. The reviews for this place are good so please give them a shot. Just don’t...
Read moreWhile in Cranford with some time to kill, I decided to take a walk and stumbled upon this hidden gem. What a find! I was immediately drawn in by the inviting atmosphere, and my experience only got better from there.
I ordered the gnocchi with Bolognese, and it was absolutely phenomenal—unbelievably tender and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I had a cappuccino and a semi-frozen almond dessert (forgive me, Adriano, for forgetting the name!). Let me just say, it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had—truly unforgettable.
The owner, Adriano, couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming, which only added to the charm of this place. Knowing that the pastas and desserts are made fresh in-house is just the cherry on top.
I rarely give glowing reviews of Italian restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves it. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in—you...
