Baja's Fresh Grill — Restaurant in Cranston

I regularly go to a few of the different Bajas a few times a week and its usually a great experience.Theres one store in particular Ive noticed the same manager is always in a corner either in his phone or eating while the same poor kid is on his own and everyone else seemingly disappears except for the register girl who in and out cleaning or stocking. I stopped by Friday and Sunday this week and this same kid is is by himself with myself and others in line and about 3-4 online orders hanging from the glass and it doesnt seem right to me that one person takes my order makes it bags it and also cashes me out by their self while there are others that should be there. And I know how the restaurant business works-theres no way any of them on are their break a couple hours before close. It’s frustrating too because it takes longer for us customers to get our food. I don’t think I will be coming to this restaurant in Warwick anymore. And I was so in excited this one opened closer to home but Id rather go to Cranston even though it’s a little out of my way. Hi I had the worst experience at the Baja’s and Warwick, Rhode Island I ordered two chicken bowls with rice and I ordered suicide sauce on the side. Specifically they put a whole bunch of it on my daughter‘s rice. I had to call the ambulance because she choked on her food cause it was so hot I was assuming they didn’t give it to me because the sauce wasn’t in the bag but apparently they put it on all over the food. I am very upset about this. I don’t wanna press charges or anything. I just want my money back. I will attach the online order info because I had placed the order online and that is specifically says on it please put suicide sauce on the side they need . They need to look at instructions more carefully instead of ignoring. Thank God, my daughter is OK but things like this somebody could die possibly I almost had a heart attack last night when she was choking. This is a serious matter. Please put it to their attention. Told the young man I was picking up for an “Alexandria”. I hadn’t realized it until I got home but he gave me an order for “Alexandra”. I called back and gave him my check number. He claimed he couldn’t find the order and asked if I could come back. To which I agreed to even though I live on the other side of Cranston.

When I got there he said they were re-making my order and that he found my order. He said it was from an hour ago which is why he couldn’t find it. He also said he had given my order to someone else. So there would have been other people with wrong orders had I not gone back.

After about 5 minutes, he handed me a bag that was still wrong. Gave me an order for a “Sabrina”. Let him know that was wrong and had to wait a bit longer. I finally got the correct order.
