Hon's House of Noodle Soup — Restaurant in Cranston

Horrible, HORRIBLE ,and disgusting food! The only green vegetable in ALL of the dishes were the TWO slices of jalapeño, ONE disk of scallion, and (if it counts as a green veg) huge chunks of stringy celery. The fresh rolls were slimy and bland, including none of the fresh herbs normally found in nim chow, they did however have dry, unseasoned strips of chicken breast and browning iceberg lettuce inside, so once opened, they fit nicely with the beige theme and utter tastelessness of all of the food. Save your money (This sloppy mess cost $40 and I tipped TEN DOLLARS on a takeout order-as I spent 15 years in the restaurant business). This food was inedible. So I put it back in the fridge, made dinner for my family, and for THE FIRST TIME EVER, I drove back to a restaurant with the food, the next day to ask for my money back. The owner rudely refused, stating “you ate all my food and ask for your money back.” (In fact, my daughter and I ate 1/2 spring roll of each order/ chicken and shrimp, which were equally gross, and simply closed the others- noodle soup and pad Thai, uneaten). She also repeatedly said “I serve everybody that walks in the door!”, for some incoherent reason??🤷🏻‍♀️ Avoid this restaurant at all costs (FIFTY DOLLAR GARBAGE) and go IMMEDIATELY to THAI STAR, or APSARA for over-the-top amazing and delicious food!!! The last photo is of the food-which actually also smelled MOST unpleasantly, moments before I threw it all in my outside trash can. Btw, absolutely no filters were applied to these photos- the food really is that ugly, and unappealing- what you see, [is EXACTLY]...

I have been eating/getting take out here for almost 10 years with my best friend and our children and a lot of times with some other friends and their kids. I always said their pho heals my soul. Today, my experience was so terrible that I will never eat from here again. My pho was wrong and the server offered to correct it and brought out what was missing even though some of the proteins in my pho I really dislike but I just carried on. Then I was charged for what was missing in addition to my pho. I went up to the manager to discuss and she huffed and puffed and was physically angry. I plead my case and she said I had to pay for the extra things I had even though it was their mistake. I wasn’t rude and even asked if she was mad at me for being given the wrong pho. She’d always been nice but I felt so unwelcome and like I did something wrong as she was so rude and treated me like crap quite loudly. Really, going there was a treat to myself today. Hons, get it together. You lost customers today who love your pho but now we will love it...

I just left that placed truly disappointed. My daughters and I went there to eat pho and the pho was extremely salty to the point I had to ask to ask the server to come to the table. The server was extremely nice and when I told her I just want you to know the pho is overly salty she said I know that’s because we have a new cook I ate the pho earlier today and it was salty. I said is there anyway you can let your boss know this. We couldn’t even eat the food at all it was all left on the plate. The owner never came to the table to apologize or anything. I still had to pay for full price even though the pho was left fully on the plate. We are regular customers but I will never go back there again specially if that new...
